There are such great walks in the beautiful countryside. Helen’s garden is magical. You would love it!

Good people, darling cottage, fabulous location. We could move in.

I played this in the background, keeping one eye out while I worked. John and Helen are perfect hosts, clearly, with their background in the hospitality industry. When we travel, we do our due diligence in finding a place to stay, whether its a vacation rental, or a hotel. AirBnB seems to have be in the news, lately. It's not a deal breaker, but what I have learned, as most of us have, is that the top hosts of rentals, or those with the best reviews, gravitate to the top of all listings when looking at a location. I just recall, earlier in this vacation rental space, that wasn't the case. I like fewer options when researching, with better hosts. Cheers 🥤

Jen. Does most of our location scouting and she’s pretty thorough. We never had a space that was a total fail, and you’ll see in this series that there will be a number of absolutely stellar locations and hosts we’ve really gotten to know and become friends with.

Just the best. We hear lots of controversy about AirBnB rentals and the detrimental effects they’re having on neighborhoods. But then you meet folks like Helen and John and picking a hosted stay over a hotel is a no-brainer!
