Thank you for demonstrating where the usb c transmitter goes! I watched so many videos and they never showed it it was driving me nuts! The XSX doesn't have a usb on the console so I needed to know if I would need a usb A adapter. Thanks bro you get a like and a new subscriber.

Man these are still hard to get. I was only able to get mine recently curbside pickup at Walmart and they keep selling out. Love having one headset that I can use on PS5, XboxSX, Switch, PC, AND my iPad Pro. And all wireless, no cables. Great unboxing/review.

I got the steel steries arctis 7x + for 165 ,I just got these and I like them a lot , light weight the head band is super comfy and the ear muffs are super light and comfy they don't make my ears sweet or itchy uncomfortable, I had the Astro a50 and these are great, and I like how I don't have a extra receiver / charge doc taking up space on my tv stand,

7x or 7p+?

The energy in your voice is great to hear when you do reviews. Even if they are longer and not edited into the ground. Really enjoy watching them. People saying the 7x don't go very loud. I dont own them yet but I'm pretty sure if you can hear the sound through the headset without them being on your head they are loud enough and if you play with them that loud on your head. Think those people need a hearing test 😂. I've currently got the new xbox wireless headset. Out the box default settings they don't sound great. Definitely need the eq tweaking with. But I have no idea what the eq settings do or mean, got my 7x coming next weak. I'm hoping they come perfect out the box with no tweaks needed

How are the 7x? I just got an x as well. My buddy got the Xbox headset and to tight on my head. Need something for a large bald head, tried so many and no luck. Got the Rig 700hx wireless, comfortable but not the greatest.

@@randy7037 so my history is. Had the stealth 520 for my ps4, best headset I've ever owned but so outdated not compatible with next gen. So I got a ps5 expecting it to be the best console ever. Alright on first use, got the Sony pulse. Terrible headset. Didn't like the ps5 in the end with all the problems mine was having plus lack of so many features. Got the series x and bought their wireless headset. Comfyish but didn't sound great, the EQ requires too much effort and even then don't sound great. I bought the 7x and I just couldn't be doing with wires and dongles plus micro USB. Also couldn't get the headband to feel comfy on my head. Thought I'd go back to turtle beach and got the stealth 700 gen 2. Ignoring all the negative reviews (majority of which were from people not being able to connect to their phone as those people didn't read the instructions properly). Initially a little tight on the head but within a week when my head got used to them and they did sort of a stretch to them. Wow, they are so comfy! Sound perfect out the box, app connects great, can programme a wheel to control the game volume and party chat individually. None of this mixing rubbish that most headsets have. Plus the 24 hour battery and Bluetooth to take calls while gaming. All sounds crystal and works flawlessly. Turtle beach has never let me down. Ps - I don't work for turtlebeach. I'm fussy about headsets and know a decent one when I find it

How is the noise canceling? That's my biggest thing I live in an apartment with thin walls next to a busy road on one side and a lot on the other where people rev their vehicles loud and have a metal dumpster slamming down the meta lid. 😂

@@user-kx1bd8qb3m if you want the ps5 version then get the Steelseries Arctis 7p’s. The 7x’s will work on ps5, but the 7p’s are better suited for ps5. The 7p’s however will not work on Xbox though. If you have both and Xbox and PlayStation get the 7x’s, and if you only have a ps5 then get the 7p’s.

Great review on your part!! Headset seems whack though. For Xbox use, you need to use both of the included cables, one for sound and then one for charging. This is why I live my Stealth 700 Gen 2’s. Only one cable needed and that’s for charging. Also there is independent chat volume, not like the 7X’s, where it’s a chat/game volume mix. Again, great review by you. I live the realness you portray. Keep up the great work!

I've had the same problem. I've read on reddit that Steel Series engine 3 is not compatible with Big Sur Mac update.. I had to EQ mine on a friend's PC

What feature are you missing? If you are referring to chat/game balance on the PlayStation, that is Sony’s fault. They lock that down to only their headsets. Other than that, all other features work on my XSX, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

I’m late to the game but here because the Sony’s suck. Left ear pain and a muffled sounding mic. My brothers was the same and is drastically different than others online play as the Astro’s.
