I remember having the same rays 17x9 +22 offset with the same tire and the wheels poked like almost 2” and when I see your car with the same setup is unbelievable how flush it looks. Now I have 5zigen fn01r-c 17x9 +43 offset so I can play with the offset same tire size as previous and it looks like your setup you had back then.

Good info. My Time Attack 2G is on 18x9.5 +15 with 265/35-18’s. I can fit a 275/30 Hoosier on there is I wanted. But I also run fender flares in the back and have the front fenders spaced. Good info. Thanks again.

Just some clarification for you. example: 275 30/R18 275 tire width in millimeters. 30 the tire sidewall height is the PERCENTAGE (30%) of the width. R18 the Diameter of the tire in inches.

I been stressing over what fitment is best for my 2G. When I see 18x9.5 I was thinking the wheels would be poking out because the smaller wheel base. 9.5 and 10in is like Mustang or Corvette which is a much bigger car. Right now I think my sweet spot would be a 17x8 +22 but seeing you run a 9.5 I didn't think it was possible on such a small car. I don't wanna be a stance boy and camber in but I don't want them rubbing when I lower it so I'm trying to be safe and cautious to run a good size with as little modification as possible. Stock wheels are 6in wide so I assume offset plays a big role on fitting a wider wheel..

Are you running an adjustable control arm in the rear? It looks to have a little camber in rear?

What about stock suspension stock brakes on a 2g 1995 gst with evo 8 rims what’s the best tire size for a flush look? Help please thanks

any special place to get any dsm oem parts? like headlights or interior stuff?

Would your last set up with the te37s fit a 95 gsx I heard that with certain sizes the tire can rub on the steering knuckle spindle and at that point people run a different year steering knuckle cuz they offer more Clarence for a more aggressive set up -thanks! 🙌 videos are fire I fuc with the new background

I wish someone can do this for the 1g DSM. Most of the info I found was about oem evo wheels.

I picked up a 98 Eclipse GST for 1k I couldn't pass up the offer the 4G63T has 100k original miles on it, and stock more stock everything except the exhaust, it needs A LOT of work but once I get it running and driving and maintenance is completely done I can't wait to make a good looking car even better :)

I'm a 3g owner but I'm still gonna watch!

Yes they will fit. Brembos only fit if the wheel isn’t flat faced

What about a 18x9.5 +35. you think that'll be ok?

Thanks for putting this up Miguel! Say, I heard somewhere long ago that an 18 x 8.5 +37 with a 245/40R18 works without rubbing as long as the car isn't lowered too much. Thoughts?

Blue smoke usually indicates burning oil. If you’re in SoCal there’s not really many shops that work on them. Try road race or Mays performance

My fenders are rolled but not pull And i need to clear my brembos brake upgrade I was looking at this wheel sizes 18 x 9 +33 ! Would this work?

Depends on the design of the wheel. Just make sure the spokes are concave and not flat. Otherwise you might need a +15 offset

If yours is 2ga it has a narrower rear arm setup

Depending on your budget man. A swap will easily cost 10-20k vs a rebuild being 1-3k

Depends on your tire size and ride height. I’ve seen many 2g with a 9.5+15 rpf1 to clear brembos look just fine

I think You're failing to mention whether you altered your camber. I also got these exact rim specs and at +45 offset they already look like your te37 fitment. Does lowering the vehicle really automatically alter camber or offset? Please name your camber specs and or what camber devices you installed. For example, adjusting top mounts in the rear or ore-cambered upper bushing in the front.
