These look so good and should be THE only preferred selection, period. That they went for 3000K is excellent! Looks so much better on classic vehicles than anything above 5000K. All crap / bug-eye headlights should be banned from the universe for ever!!!

I've got a pair in my Town Car they're great. Something I've noticed is even the Holley LEDs benefit from a headlight relay in that they are slightly dimmer through my car's factory wiring.

Why don't you test the e-code versions of those lights? Autopal had knock off e-codes for under $40 a pair and Hella e-codes run about $100-$140 depending. I would love for someone to test sealed beam vs ecode with osram night breakers (and with HID/LED options you sell vs those holley lights. LED's don't keep the lens clear of snow, so not an option here. Love your videos!

I want to see a road test dog. I heard these Holly Bulbs have a similar issue to Truck Lite LED's in that they both have shadows/ dark spots, overall hazey light because they are no proctored, like so many other LED aftermarket light sources.

$400 for a pair of 5x7’s LEDs..im sorry TRS. I love u guys..but dang I bought ebay glass sealed 5x7’s. And retrofitted morimoto’s bixenon 50w h1 in them. Cost about $450. But that’s worth it for a true projector retrofit. I think the bro-tax is placed on the idea of keeping the classic look, ease of install, And the slimness. Retrofitting does require space in the engine bay (regarding 5x7)

Nice! We love a good retrofit. But not everyone wants to dive that deep into a custom build. That's where the Vision X housings and LED bulbs or something like these new Holley lights come into play! These are a great option for someone who wants to keep it simple and still have amazing light output!

LED are the best headlights and no doubt Holley has a great lightbulb but they are crazy overpriced. I have looked over the internet for prices and the lowest I have seen is $200 dollars per headlight. That is $400 dollars by the time you get a set. Ouch! And you have to be very careful on what you order because cheaper knock offs, well they are not plug and play either. Many of them will not fit flush on the headlight frame and take to much modification to get them installed properly. Its like you are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

  • @RetrofitSource

We have a ton of sealed beam units in our stuido from testing over the years. Knock offs, Morimotos, Holleys, etc. In a case like this, you'll definitely get what you pay for. Very few companies put effort behind creating a good beam pattern and light output for aftermarket units. Holley and Morimoto are the exception in this, as they both have astounding quality and performance. It might be a bit more than other brands, but you'll get back that money in quality of parts and the coverage of warranty too.
