I wish you guys would test out the Hella 4x6 headlights and do a review of them. Much cheaper and very robust build from what I have heard.

I bought some for my Aussie 89 IROC Camaro. Unfortunately they were installed without the Splitter Harness, the mechanic misplaced them😢. Am hoping they sort that shit out asap.

Is that lux reading from 2 headlights each side? What you are saying is that Holley made better headlight than Morimoto? If their reflector seal beam can be this wide and intense I couldn’t imagine how awesome if they make LED projector.

The one headlight they will probably never make will be for are the 1988-89 gm c/k pickup or 88-91 r/v pickup truck with the dual sealed beams which are the h4701 and h4703 headlights I had to source out the Bosch e code 4701 and h4703 non sealed beams that have h4 for removable bulbs that allow me used led bulbs…finding them was hard and very expensive too and much harder to find as well for people who drive truck like mine and don’t won’t to go the composite style headlight that is one piece…company need to start making h4701 and 4703 headlights

The lights that I linked above are LED replacements for these 4x6 lights.

At this price they only appeal to very small group , most garage builders are going to pass to cheaper options

These offer a pretty standard 2-year warranty. The bulbs are replaceable, so in the event of a bulb failure those can be purchased separately if the warranty has expired!

I think there is a mistake with Measurement the high beam stock halogen The high beam is 1590 lux 😅 I expect it 300 max lux .. It’s so bad beam

Are the lenses plastic and if they are how will they hold up to daily use in the sun.

They are, they have a OEM grade UV coating that is expected to last the lifetime of the lights. There should be no issues with hazing from the sun!

How does this compare to an 9003 halogen bulb inside one of those semi sealed housings?

I just picked these up based on these HR's vids. I took the leap and caught a scratch & dent sale so I was pretty optimistic about my investment. Boy oh boy was this a fantastic purchase. I plan to take a short video of this amazing quad low quad high setup. I love them. Highly recommend these, the light output is pretty incredible compared to everything else. Thanks HR!

@@HeadlightRevolution question: 1) do those orange wires act as a relay in case the vehicle can't provide enough power to power these headlights? 2) I have a 1985 monte carlo, was thinking about using the white lights for the lows and using the yellow lights for the high beams..would that work? And finally do those splitter adapters that connect to the orange adapter come with the lights or are those separate to?

Me with my cheape ass led lights on my 81. They work. Kinda. Lol

Time to upgrade!

I’ll be glad when they make them with real glass instead of polycarbonate, might as well say plastic. Because they’ll fade out in time like these new cars and trucks. I think Hella’s are glass but I can’t remember.

Poly > Glass for headlights for a couple reasons. If you're worried about scratching, apply some PPF film like Lamin-X, that solves that concern. As for UV damage, that's already covered with an OEM grade UV resistant coating. Lamin-X could help with this as well! So they will not fade from the sun. Poly is tougher against impacts, the Holley headlights are UV and scratch resistant out of the box (this can be improved further with a PPF film as mentioned above), and they'll perform better than any other sealed beam headlight on the market. Seems like an obvious choice to me!
