Great ideas even for people who live in Chicago. Caira, you never have any South side locations. There are nice spots in Hyde Park, South shore cultural center, the lake front and beaches on the south side and the Museum of Science and Industry just to name a few.

I've been in Chicago for a year and still need to get more acclimated with places to go. I love your recommendations and will definitely check out quite a few of these places. Thanks for the coffee recommendations too! I'm also looking for more great coffee spots here. You can never have too many ☕😂. I live in Uptown and love getting out for a walk and stumbling upon nice places in this area, too.

Omg I have some friends visiting for the first time next month and my itinerary is very similar, good recs! I will say Chicago touristy stuff is still fun and worth while, it’s not gimmicky like other cities

I love what you know and what you're still simultaneously learning about the city yourself. I am still in Michigan but have a second interview this week via computer with a company in Lincoln Park. May need to be there within the next month or sooner and a place around there. Could be exciting!... Can't wait to hop back into my beautiful Lake Michigan.

I definitely recommend checking out the weekend arts festivals and markets! there's a great one in Wicker Park but also some options closer to downtown
