@@unapologetically_me I think I'd approach it this way: "I found how I want my hair cut, and I don't know if I can explain it you good enough. Can I send you a link to a video showing what it looks like and how they did it?" I think phrasing it that way, you won't come across as thinking they don't know what they're doing. It's better than going in with a picture on a model that doesn't show all the sides, which usually leaves it up to interpretation from the stylist, and it's never what you had hoped it would turn out. At least that's how it ends up for me 🙂

I like what Justin did so much more than than the other stylists.

Yes, but he had the most beautiful model too! She was already perfect and didn't need anything other than a haircut. The others had a LOT more work done to make their models to look better, they added heavy makeup and haircolor to make them look better. Justin's model has a perfect face and already did her minimal makeup perfectly. He didn't have to add anything. Plus she seems to be a very pleasant person to be around! So he had the advantage from the beginning. There was no contest really, there was no way that he wouldn't win this! And that bob shape is really perfect for her!

Justin does EXACTLY what we all need! He works with a woman’s face shape, color of hair, and age. I would LOVE to have a stylist like Justin!!

I agree...I don't go to a stylist a 2nd time unless they're able to do that. I give them an idea of the hairstyle I want & tell them to do whatever they see fit to make it look the best it can.

Her hairstyle looks like it was made for her, like it's always been that way. It was a dramatic change in style, but it didn't look like a drastic change. It looks natural to her face. Beautiful!

Hands down love Justin’s makeover.

Justin made such a dramatic change with so little actual change except for the cut. She is just glowing!

I think all the stylist did a great job ,but my favorite was Justin's ,because he really captured her bone structure and added more dimension by adding slight color change and angel to her hair .complementing her features. All of you are winners and true artists .

Justin is the winner for sure. They all look great, but wow on Justin's model! She was so happy. I know she agrees.

The model went from looking matronly to efforlessly sophisticated. Justin is the winner. Congratulations!

A great cut & color can range anywhere from $80-$200 (reasonable) & up (which is never pay no matter who it is, lol), depending on location & how skilled the hair stylist is. Good luck!

"This view doesn't suck" is an understatement; she is stunning! This style and color absolutely enhanced the beauty she already had and I think her goal was achieved for her. This makes me want to get mine done this way and similar to the way it was back in the early 90s except I was a blonde and had bangs. I think I'd still like to pop it with fantasy color underneath. I have a bob with purple high and lowlights. Not in your face but just enough to be fun. I'm 66 and love shaking things up.

Justin’s bob is amazing and the low lights are perfectly subtle. His model is an older woman who looks youthful even before the cut. It looked adorable before and the bob definitely gives her a more sophisticated look.

Absolutely without a doubt .... Justin you take the winners circle! Your model was beautiful when we first saw her ... and even more so when you were finished with your magic! 9 months later I bet she still feels fabulous!

THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN... I even felt my heart beating faster a few times. So much drama and brilliant editing! I already follow Gabi and loved seeing different stylists in one film. I was prepared to vote for anyone, but in the end, JUSTIN, you win because it was the most dramatic change and your model looks the most youthful from her before. But I liked all 3. Whoa! Kudos to all for accepting the challenge, showing each process (and addressing possible pitfalls), while having fun with it, too! What an entertaining AND educational video to watch! From a ‘mature’ woman’s perspective, I have to pick JUSTIN. His ability to cut lift and shape into a flattering style for one’s face shape is really amazing. And then, he knows how to use subtle lowlights to enhance that style without adding a lot of maintenance and a stressful grow-out if Susan decides to change it up later on. Paradoxically, that subtly seemed to make the biggest change and really created a “youthful,”vibrant look for his model. (Glad she trusted him: Her increased confidence is noticeable at the end!) Also, I appreciated the links and respect shown to the other stylists! There is always more to learn!

I just got through watching all 3 videos. Justin, you definitely take 1st place - what you did just with your model's hair is such an amazing transformation! She's beautiful to start with, but you made her stunning! Judging on hair only (since only 1 of you did makeup anyway), 2nd place goes to Summer and 3rd to Gabi (but she rates mucho kudos for the great makeup job). Would love to see the 3 of you do this again using identical triplets (and, maybe, no makeup change). Also would love to see you all do a collaborative using just one model!

I really like Justin’s style the best. She looks gorgeous. The lowlights were perfect on her.

Justin wins this one. Gabi did an updo? Summer cut bangs? Wow. PS, as a gray haired lady myself I felt Susan's stress deeply with the low lights. It took us a long time to grow it out a d the thought of having to do it again is stressful.

Everyone did a great job! However, I think the changes that you made to your model makes you the overall winner. You really updated her look and actually did make her look more "hip" or youthful. That was a lot of fun to watch. I would love to see you guys do this again.

I absolutely love the cut and color that Justin did. It did so much more for his model than the other two stylists’ methods/results with less “gimmick”. His model can wash, dry and go and look amazing! Also, I learned so much from his explanation of the “how and why” of this cut that I feel much more confident in getting the perfect Bob for me.

I think all 3 did an amazing job! I loved the color that Summer did! Gabi’s updo, and make-up made her model look so polished! However, I do believe Justin’s was the best! It did everything he said it would. It brought your eye upward and the bangs at cheek level, enhanced her cheekbones and the low lights, added dimension!

I like Justin's Bob. I was nervous about the coloring but it turned out so natural looking. She is a gorgeous lady so Justin had a big advantage by just that alone. I am hoping to get my hair cut like that.❤❤

I think all 3 did an awesome job. With that being said, I like what Justin did the most. Also I liked the way he handled his client not wanting color. I have watched Justin before this morning and this was my 4th video and I am impressed!

LOVE the one you did, Justin! It is my favorite by far. The lowlights are perfect for the gray (which is gorgeous by the way). His cut/technique is so amazing.

Justin made the most dramatic change in hair style. Created a look that the client could replicate and could alter without losing the style he created. She looks fabulous at the end (although the other models also looked good).
