After watching the whole haircut, they cannot take one minute to show the finished style? You know, just pan around her so we can see the finished cut. That happens in the last "Tarantula" video I watched. That's like showing a dress from pattern to sewing and then never showing it on a model or showing it for 3 seconds. If it's a matter of the length of the video, then edit out some of the cleaning up/snipping near the end so there's time to show the finished cut.

Very, very pretty and inspiring. But the real essence of this particular haircut isn't his pointing, it's his great control of elevation. Elevation is what creates technically seamless graduation - and softness - not pointing. The next exercise; cut and refine the entire shape with club cutting and elevation only. See how seamless you can get it before refining with a minimum of cutting into it after it's dry.

I hope all of you grow old and alone with no one to talk to or who will listen to you. You will understand then just how unkind you are being. Sometimes for some paying for a haircut and having a "captive" audience is the only conversation she may have in a whole month. You don't know what being so alone is like.

Excellent hair cut, takes his time, sections off , that's the sign of an excellent stylist for guide lines and a percision cut. I Have done hair for 40 years , and taking pride in your work, puts your name on it. Make the client happy, Nd that number 1. She did talk the whole time! I give her a plus for not moving her head all over while talking! Beautiful haircut!👍

In my opinion she is talking way to much. How does she expect the stylist to do her job an listen to her. Especially when they’re doing the blow drying of her hair

Shame on all of you! Obviously this woman has not taken care to get a nice haircut. Is she lonely, a widow that just lost her uusband, no children/family? Does she have a husband with dementia who talks gibberish all day that makes no sense? Can't see the stylists lips. Is he asking leading questions to get her to talk and make his customer feel special? You have no idea what's being said.

I am an old hairdresser from 1960. This technology is new to me also. But the end result is beautiful. We become best friends with our clients. And they tell us everything . I. Even told my clients they were pg before they eenknew it

These techniques came out about 90's, point cutting, angles, over directing hair guides. Called this the Rachel cut (by Redken), done in different lengths, just a revision from a 30's cut, popular again in the 60's, then 90's, and again now. Styles seem to repeat with some revision, looks like every 30 years! This can also be done with a razor! Great haircut for a small head (nape).

My gosh this is an amazing cut/and hairstyle. The way he uses that scissor is fabulous, I was praying he wouldn't nip his fingers. I went to beautician school, and we were never taught to cut this way. We were taught to follow the the the line of cut, and cut across and cut straight. His method with the more thick and shaggy look, is outstanding.
