I've been doing this workout for 4 months, 3 days a week no cheat days. Increasing weights 10 pounds a week except leg press which I increase 20lb. I wanted to "level up" this workout, and a friend of mine who has lifted for 10 years suggested: Swapping leg press for squats Adding calf raise machine Adding bicept curl machine Any opinion on those additions?

Exactly! I go to the gym and i keep seeing these buff peeps pushing some weights and then pacing up and down for a minute then pushing some more weights...now I know they were taking a break between their reps. The 4x12 really helps me get started and see where I stand. I wonder if there is any "golden rule" about how much you should rest between reps?
Thank you for this video my man. All the other KZreadrs never actually tell you what to do and how. They just spend 10 minutes talking about random stuff and then try to get you to buy something. Seriously, thank you my friend.
Yeah this was well needed ! Just got back into the gym and was looking for a good full body routine ! The king is back
Fantastic, Brix!! Great base points for folks who need to reboot their strength training journey after significant time away. 🙌👍
Not gonna lie my body is a mess, I'm a smoker etc. Not overweight but trying to get fit maybe gain a little mass. Been going to the gym for about 2 week, knowing nothing. I use machines with low weight but never really had a schedule. This is totally what I needed. At 51 just trying to get better and you my friend are the only one that has made an explanation that I could follow.

Outstanding video. Simply outstanding
I’m not trying to lose weight but the fact that you provide the fat loss guide for free really tells me that you’re not here for self serving purposes, you’re here to genuinely help people. I loved this video, I was deep into fitness years ago and now I’m ready to jump back in, just wanted a simple place to start 😊
I just wanted to say thank you. I have watched a shit ton of videos trying to find a starting place. This is the first one that makes me feel welcome and that you aren’t talking down to me, but explaining it a way that inspires success. You made everything simple and explained in terms I could actually understand! Thanks again!!
I’ve started my weight loss journey and all I’ve been doing this past month is cardio and chest press. I feel more confident now you showcased how to use the other machines. Thanks brix ❤️
This is exactly what I've needed. Never worked out in a gym before a couple of weeks ago and I was feeling self-conscious about my knowledge of the machines. Also a bit worried I might inadvertently get injured. This video is short, sharp and to the point. Cheers from England :D

Ive spent a lot of time to trying to put together a routine for myself. Your video just gave me exactly what I needed. And being able to see how you transformed your body is a great motivator for me. I want the same thing.
I really appreciate this video. Up until May 2020 I was in great shape and in May 2020 I had my first Stroke. That ended my career and I went through a depression, lost the will to work out, then a heart attack, and then May of 2022 my second stroke. All of my doctors are encouraging exercise and your video gave me instruction but more importantly the desire to get back at it. I just wanted to say thank you.
Thank you, Brix, I needed this. You gave such thorough instruction and tips to check for proper usage and form. I'm excited to try this routine at my local gym!
Thanks Brix. I'm getting back to the gym and I'm sometimes intimidated on where to start and am i doing it all right. Appreciate your dedication to your craft. You're walking 🚶♂️in your purpose. I'm 6'3, 250lbs and 47. Be blessed.

Yessir. Thank you for mentioning the stomach and placement of your legs/thighs. The way you instruct is awesome! Thank you for sharing.
It's amazing how many videos I have had to watch until know to have this question answered. The rep /set balance people have been saying the same things but in parables. Thanks for stating that in the most lucid way to someone like me
This is precisely what I was looking for, I appreciate the help!
Great stuff, simple and straightforward. Thanks.
Thank you! I needed this!
Had to sub after watching this vid. Appreciate that you effectively address the questions a beginner might be having that can be a deterrent to workout success
Thanks for this and the thorough explanations. You are the person needed when at the gym!!!
Thank you!
Thank you for this. Going to the gym for the 2nd time tomorrow and I'm going to push through my anxiety and try this!
Thank you!!!!! I'm 5'7, young and have been generally healthy. Unfortunately I had surgery 3 years ago and went from 180lbs to 387lbs. I'm now off the meds and have permission to get back to where I need to be. I have been going to the gym the last 3 months and have already lost 20lbs but I was always just staring at the machines. I can only do machines for now because i have no balance. Not knowing how to use them or how many times was really pushing me away. You have no idea how much this helped me man. I'm going everyday now at 4am doing your exercises. Once I learn proper gym etiquette and the do's and don'ts when sharing machines with other people ill start going in the day. Thank you again!
This was so helpful!!! And actually beginner friendly. People post workouts but they aren’t as thorough!! Thank you!!!!
