I was speaking too fast to the youngsters in the store. I meant to say 35 but I said 25!!! LOL. I didn't edit it out. I just left it in there. Yes. Horchata de San Miguel: The Jicaro tree gives a seed that we call Morro. We get the Morro seeds, sesame seeds, cacao and roast them all together, then we grain it to a fine powder like mix. We now have the main ingredients for the Horchata. Now add the Horchata ingredients to water or milk and sugar, mix it really good (blender) and enjoy. Horchata has no peanuts in it and some people may add cinnamon for extra flavor too. From Redondo Beach, California since October 1981, but from San Miguel from 02/1966 to October 1981

So glad to see you had a nice time in my homeland! I think the hot dog you ate is called a "mata niños". It has an interesting story. Also, when you order food, you might want to say "me da" or "me trae". "Tengo" means "I have". But that usage doesn't translate well to Spanish when ordering food and drinks. I like the confidence you carry being out and about. Even I don't feel that confident when I go to visit!!
