The Peninsula Istanbul Hotel Review

The Peninsula Istanbul is the embodiment of ultra-luxury.
Part of the city’s historic Karaköy area and right on the edge of Galata Port, The Peninsula Istanbul lies on the banks of both the Bosporus and the Golden Horn. With 177 rooms and suites, and home to the signature restaurant Gallada, run by Turkey’s first two Michelin starred chef, Fatih Tutak.
Three of the historical buildings that make up The Peninsula Istanbul played an active part in the city’s rich maritime history and were restored to their former glory by The Peninsula Hotels Group along with their Turkish partners over a seven-year period.
The Peninsula suite encompasses over 500 m2 over two floors with a study, living room, dining room, cinema room, a gym and a Turkish Hammam. There is an equally impressive roof-top terrace with a private deck, private swimming pool with views of not just the Bosporus and Golden Horn but the majestic Galata Tower. Naturally the entire Peninsula Suite is equipped with bullet proof windows.
