Just came across this reaction, good job, man👍🏽. To answer your question, I honestly don't think it would matter how DC feels if The Penguin is successful. Because in the end, it's DC still. Its just that Gunn called this DC Elseworld . It's still under the WB DC Banner. I like both, I love what Reeves is doing. BUT we need the fantasy as well because, after all, these are based on comics. Batman's world does have some fantasy to it, we have to be careful. Some ppl want the fantasy, some want this, I'LL TAKE BOTH😂.

Thanks for the comment! I totally see where you comin from, you right batman does have a fantasy element and if you take too long you end up with the dark knight rises LOL

Yes you're wrong. Bridge or whatever is flashback. This is 2 weeks after the movie so the water is drained but it's still no man's land. This is why we hear Penguin talk that legacy stuff, there's a power vacuum to fill. I suppose that is why you need the flashback, to understand that He has real motivation and isn't making moves just because Falcone got shot.

I would hope that if it is successful, they would apply some lessons to the more fantastic stuff. I don't like when superhero movies or comics themselves think unrealistic behavior etc. doesn't matter just because the premise or powers are unrealistic.
