Give the guy a break, he's trying to help people. FYI, there are videos that are 1-3 minutes, watch those & quit wasting your precious time. For some of us we like taking a break & listening to what other people learn. I get it. I get in a rush sometimes too, I just move on to a quick video, but I have never posted a negative comment. Out of all the videos I watched on this, this one was the first I had to do research to see if it was illegal in my state, so I thank him for that! I think he did a great job & hope he will continue to help us!

one thing I do is bury the jar pb. I put it to where the lid is just above ground level. then you remove the lid. I get deer, pugs, squirrels, armadillos and raccoons will come to it. a medium size jar will last about a week in my area, Texas. some times I have to search for the jar. they'll rip it up out of the ground, I suspect hogs. when I find the jar it looks like it went threw a dishwasher. they really do love it.

Didn’t work for me. It drew in black bears who had a hey day the first night it was up. I thought it was a fluke so I tried it one more time and the bear came back. I’m going back to Alfalfa and salt. I should clarify that it was for black tail deer in Oregon. This could be a species or regional thing. Anyways my son did an experiment at school to see what item draws in the most deer he tried food blocks salt Antlermax feed and ultimately Alfalfa. Alfalfa was significantly better across the board bringing in deer we never saw with the other items. I think it plays to their sense of smell and carries on the wind. We just peal off leafs from a bail bag it up and carry it in. It’s amazing. However everything changes around here as soon as hunting season opens. Where do all the bucks go?

Maybe it's just me that is ignorant but what keeps the peanut butter from running out when you cut the bottom of the container off ‼️⁉️I know it would probably take several hours to run out on the ground , but what about ants , Yellow jackets etc. This makes no sense to me due to the high cost of peanut butter. Why not just find a old log or stump that is already hollowed out , fill it with the peanut butter , mollasses and how the sent draws the deer. ⁉️🐍

A couple of years ago O found my peanut jar on the ground and it was lick clean not on drop was in it but my camera run out and I never saw which creator lick on and in it metal cap works better then plastic top

    Do deer actually like this?

Yes. It is super high in protein also. It can take a little to get them to try it but once they do they hit it up regularly. I know there is videos on youtube of deer eating peanut butter. I though someone was nuts the first time I heard it.

Unfortunately yes. It's the sugars they are attracted to. Which is not good. Look what's happened to the human population once sugar was introduced into all processed foods, it's the number 1 cancer related cause.. so let's introduce that to our wildlife populations.. and everyone wonders why the animals are having so many issues with new diseases..

Bad for the deer? It's a small amount. And I'm pretty sure the plan is to shoot them. I think the peanut butter is the least of their worries. LOL

Do the squirrels in your area love peanut butter or do the squirrels near where you live enjoy peanut butter or do the squirrels in Wisconsin like peanut butter............ what if I have four screws ? What is the trick ? Do I have to stay out there and keep the molasses smeared over everything and what if I forget my spoon ? I got one for ya buddy, yep I got one for ya ... how bout the ol' salt block .... don't think it's a trick cause every feed and tack store got 'em on the shelf.... but if we pretend, it could be a trick and ya don't need molasses and the spoon to smear it around with. So, I betcha a dollar to a donut that the ol' giant Wisconsin deer empty the peanut butter jar in the peanut butter jar trick real quick . So what is longer a squirrel arm or deer tongue ? My wife said the deer tongue is longer than the squirrel arm, she's some kind of Biologist ...... said she was experienced and qualified in these matters, I digress ...... still don't think this is a trick, maybe I'm the one being tricked here ... took me four years and a few weeks just to get here ..... it's an old trick now. The Deer in the video are dead now, so it's a moot point (don't get to use the word "moot" much).... but' the ol' Peanut Butter Trick lives on ... I'll put up two jars ... one with peanut butter and the other with jelly .... grab some bread and tell my 4 yo grandson we're gonna have pbj sannies for lunch he'll come runnin' and I'll have that spoon (to spread the molasses with in the woods) and tell him to have at it ...."but, Papa I can't do this" .... I'll say "Wisconsin deer can, they get tricked into it by Wisconsin hunters... they even teach other people how to do it on KZread" ..... he'll say "you mean like Stinky & Dirty, Papa" I'll say "is what like Stinky & Dirty" He'll say "the videos, Papa" I say :Oh, forget that ...let's go huntin'" We go huntin' like we do all the time.... slip into the woods, hide up, wait..... and if a deer comes by send a bullet to the front quarter and through the lungs..... We're done, no tricks, no molasses, no fuckin' spoon. Backstrap no pbj. Just us, the truck, guns, ammo with a lot of safety and no tricks. Just a good time passing time and knowledge to the boy child that needs to learn the woods solid - no tricks. Just shoot the damn deer !
