His drummer for his solo project bailed because he started using again earlier this year so......

I listen to Jonny literally every day. I have pretty much every song he's ever released. Hands down favorite vocalist. Such a great/unique voice.

This dude has no clue that his gift has influenced millions and sober or not dude will always kill it! But as a recovering addict and musician myself going on 10 yrs off the horse and 35 years playing drums and guitar for 25yrs I always had same vocalist for all my bands except for 3 and my solo projects. But I always look for singers with R&B influences and that can scream like a mofo! Hope Jonny gets into another post hardcore band. Like if Issues had Jonny as a vocalist and wrote new music together! How dope would that be?!?! He will always be in my top 10 all time favorite vocalist!

@@LessOfMyselfToKill_187 I like a lot of the bands you listed, but few have the right formula for that soulful core sounds like dgd, Emarosa or issues. Obviously anything with Jonny or Tyler Carter, you mentioned valiant hearts, I think they and galleons get it right. As mentioned, VRSTY. I'm sure you've checked wolf and bear, they have that dbm1 magic. A lot like birds 2nd and 3rd album, but specifically conversation piece. Since dbm1 came out I've been on a non stop search for more of that feel haha

Relativity is one of my most beloved albums ever recorded but it still breaks my heart to listen to it because of everything that went down in the years following its release (and that of the self-titled). To hear and see Jonny singing stuff from this album today in 2022 gives me a feeling that I can't even begin to put into words. I miss the old Emarosa so bad and this just fills my heart 😭

Best voice of our generation. We have some great vocalists but Jonny is at the top for sure. So happy to see him doing better, he’s too incredible to waste his life. Not only is he a great singer he’s also a really nice guy, it’s a shame he’s had to go through the shit that he has.
