I finally decided to open Final Cut Pro and finish this video, It's been in the works since May of 2022 but life has a way of throwing character development your way and delaying your plans 😅
I hope you all enjoy this one, I have a few new video ideas that I'm planning for this year. I have a lot of analogue oil cameras that I'd love to make videos on, as well as my process for shooting and scanning the photos.
Thank you all for the continued support on my previous 2 videos, I have ready every single comment on them and am very humbled that you all enjoyed them.

Love this camera, got it with 14mm f2.5 for $35 without battery and changer, added $15 more, and I'm really happy.

Great review! Very well written and illustrated. I like the fact that the video is short, you get to the point by explaining the important things. And don't worry if you don't release videos regularly, as long as it's good quality that's what is important. So no pressure :)
GF series including GF2, GF3, GF5 are probably a bit under rated now and therefore generally good deals used. An there are lots of good used M43 lenses for them. Get one as a spare body to your prime GX1 or GX7. All are good deals now. Of course they do have their quirks, the older 12mp sensor wasn't great at high ISO although the GF5 isn't too bad. Nicely done video.

But they have some kind of microcontrast on the sensor level which I always loved. Of course high ISO as well as dynamic range is not good by today standards.
Based on your review of the LX5 ended up going with the LX7 & it's such an amazing little camera and lens that flies under the radar of the Fujifilm hype ~ 🙏🙏 this gf2 looks really neat too!!

Bought my daughter one of these way back when first released. I still remember it and rate it very highly. I'm a stills shooter not video so no comment about that side. But I'd gladly still use it today, alas she sold it to get a more VLOG friendly model ie. flippable viewing screen

i bought this camera for my dad when it came out, he still has it and loves it like no other. sadly some things are not quite functioning on it with the SD card being not detected around 50% of the time.
What if manual lens were used for video recording?

Does it have a picture profile settings?

I like my GF2 but it now refuses to accept an SD card. It was a handy little camera. Annoying!
