It's from Daniel chapter 9: 26. Messiah shall be cut off. It's straight from the text.

You are miss appropriating scripture into things that it doesn't apply to. What John saw was visions and he was told to write them down naturally if he painted what he saw we would miss the intended information. So Jesus, wasn't saying anything here about whether or not we or John is allowed to paint a picture of our Lord.

There is no scripture regarding paintings being forbidden and you are posting verses that have no relation to this issue. No one is making an idol out of a painting and certainly no one is worshiping the images you see in the video. You are making equivocations. 2nd cor 5:16 Has nothing to do with paintings or idols. Believers in Christ being made new does not have anything to do with paintings being forbidden. I am most certainly not quote "going against the word of God" you, I am afraid, are wielding it like a broadsword you can't bear the weight of. I also do not follow the catholic church or the orthodox church. I made a video, Videos require images, images are not evil because the word image or images is used in the Bible within the proper context, to describe things like the image of the beast or the fact an image was a term used for a false god in the old testament specifically something carved or engraved out of wood or stone. The only scripture that comes close to what you are claiming is found in the ten commandments in Exodus 20 **4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image** or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. The key part is this here > **5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God** Is anyone here, including me, worshiping the images in the video or do we know by common sense that what's shown in this video is for demonstration purposes and that we know it's not the real Jesus? Final question. Do you think you are better than the Apostle Paul? Paul, as we know, quoted pagan writings and these quotes are in your Bible in the book of Acts and in 1 Corinthians. He also quoted Epimenides in the book of Titus. Paul in order to do this, would have had to actually studied these writings to have the knowledge of them, this is something I get the feeling you would be against doing, since you object to people, as you put it, of "being apostate, following the PAGAN catholic & orthodox churches, of being in quotations "Christians" obviously the implication is "fakers" and of being idolaters simply for either making a animation of the Crucifixion or including said animation for a Gospel out reach video. This is simply unreasonable logic on your part. Paul studied pagan writings and used them for the advancement of the Gospel, which is of greater significance than religious opinion and I can only assume you think you are more spiritual than Paul because you avoid pagan things and disapprove of artwork depicting Jesus. I say all this for your benefit. I pray that you think deeply about what I am saying,
