The Pagan Ninnies Bonaparte crossing the Rhine.

This is an excerpt from a radio program, "Homespun" on WLRH 89.3 FM in Huntsville AL. ca. 1990. It was hosted by the late Edwin Wilson featuring "The Pagan Ninnies", a band which includes Norman Blake (Guitar, fiddle), Nancy Blake (Mandolin, Fiddle, Guitar and Cello), James Bryan (Fiddle) and Thomas (Tom) Jackson (6 string clawhammer Banjo and harmonica).
The band name came to me after reading the biography of the great Niccolo Paganini, whose body went unburied for 25 years after his death for allegedly making a deal with the devil, trading his soul for his astounding musical gifts.
Edwin's wife Karen Falkowski, found a copy of these recordings from the show while going through Edwin"s things and kindly shared them with me. I"m glad to be able to share these very fond memories of the evening spent amongst friends.
Thomas Jackson
