Grammy-Award and mulit-platinum soul and pop vocalist Jody Watley recently performed at this year's 2015 Lincoln Park "Midsummer Night Swing" Series at Damrosch Park in NYC. Jody just reformed "Shalamar Reloaded" revisiting the music of this legendary soul group in which she got started as co-leader with vocalists Howard Hewitt and Jeffery Daniel. New vocalists Nate Allen Smith and Rosero McCoy make up Reloaded and bring a new take on such classics like "Take That To The Bank" and "Second Time Around." y'know,'yknow,yknow', yknow what miss Watley I DON'T KNOW!!!:)There's no getting away from it though Howard Hewett WAS the voice of Shalamar (and the 80's)for most including myself.Jody's voice also gelled well with the group Jeffrey was virtually non excistent after around 1982.The fact is the original members are getting older and their voices lack that range they demonstrated and doing live shows highlights this more.If these clips are anything to go by.Peace.......................

Interview was cool but...was that a bathrobe and PJs? I guess the fashion went by the wayside over the years

+Dee Jones I've Googled your information and Dotun Iluyomade is correct. You're not known. Where's your website promoting your business? What and where is your fashion line located? Any reality shows in the making, or based on your career contributions to fashion? You seem to be BET material so there should be no problem in receiving offers from such a fledgling network for such an unknown!

+Demitri Tyler ....compared to what? You defiantly compare it to UK members Jeffrey, Howard and the other girl! A) the UK members are still trying to recapture 1982 all over again. B) Shalamar Reloaded are real performers without the usage of three extra backing vocalist and still fail to capture the Watley sound. C) Howard lost his vocal ability along with his hairline. Maybe the bad idea is that the UK lineup continue to exist in the island of irrelevance after their three hour tour!
