I know she's technically half titan here, but with the palisman and witch hat, she looks like the folklore witches that children are scared of AND I LOVE IT. Disney was probably like "thats against our brand especially for a protagonist's design" but Dana just dropped the bomb on them

Not just that, but she got her powers from a creature in purgatory with horns, claws, big demonic wings, and who described himself as ‘both King and Queen’…I am adoring how they take these traditionally ‘villainous’ tropes and twist them on their head to be for the hero! It feels so cathartic and really shows Luz’s ‘weirdo’ status as a point of celebration, giving her traits that have been used for indicating ‘this character is evil/deserves your ire’, but portrays them as powerful and as a sign of how much faith the Titan has in her as a witch worthy of protecting the Isles. Plus, it’s hysterical to imagine how angry certain people will be when they see a positively portrayed ‘deal with the devil’ situation.

Funny thing, she looks exactly like what Belos THINKS witches are, but she hardly acts like it. And MY GOD is it a great look Also, her final “EATH THIS SUCKA!!!” line is SOOOOOO satisfying. I love it

I honestly love how the final form Luz gets has a bit of a monstrous appearance instead of a pure light outfit someone like Azura would wear. It really encapsulates the visual style of this show.

It ended the way it began this episode got me yelling with joy say no no no I was afraid that it would fumble it but no it was amazing

By far to me one of the sweetest part of the episode was seeing Luz do a sonic scream with King. As if their brother sister dynamic couldn't get cuter, now It's kinda literal.

I didn't see this before

A lot of people complain that Luz didn't keep her Titan powers, but those people don't seem to realize that this is what Belos would've done. The difference between them is that Belos forcibly took over the Titan's corpse with the intent of destroying all life on the Boiling Isles, while Luz accepted the power that was offered to her and returned it to its rightful owner when she no longer needed it.

Notice how Luz’s almost like a fusion between Harpy Eda and King. Eda’s hair, eyes, and fang, King’s claws and feet, and finally Luz seemingly has body fur like the two of them. It’s supposed to represent how they truly are a family.

My favorite thing about all of these scenes is how proud Eda looks the whole time. She is just beaming watching and guiding Luz through the whole fight. She is like “I helped make that." She has never looked more like a proud mama.

0:53 such a special moment. The only time Eda could relate to Luz with similar magical abilities.

What Luz did was correct. Against ones like Belos you have to refuse to acknowledge or engage them even if Luz had something cool to say.

I like how somewhere around 2:50 it literally turned into an anime.

King and Luz getting to do a brother-sister "weh" together is cute.

1:58 That call back and that joy of a well learned student that Eda sees in Luz.

The fact that tecnically the rain killed Belos is like the universe itself was like "Now eat this suckeeer!"

Can we appreciate how smooth that animation is for the “now eat this sucker!” I want to keep replaying it over and over

i like edas reaction when she tranforms back and that happy squeal made things worth while, like a proud mother with her daughter and how far she's come, to become a true witch

Honestly,I half expected Belos to fake literal Amnesia. Like he just got to the world and thought Luz was a Lady and he starts asking for Caleb back. That would been smarter.

I love Eda's hair sound, the smile she gives Luz when she asks where magic comes from and I'm happy we got 1 last, "NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!"

0:54 is it just me or is this kind of a cute moment between Luz and Eda? A mom teaching her kid a life skill.

Yes! It's a moment that would have happened if Luz had been able to do magic like a witch normally does. It's a thing that Eda was never able to really teach Luz, not for lack of wanting, but for lack of ability. I love that Luz and Eda got to have this moment in the end.

My jaw hit the floor when I saw her design Like DAYUMMM-

1:53 i love the small detail of edas feathers ruffling a little and the look of pride when she sees the amout of growth luz has gone through. Its all come full circle and we can see if give eda chills

I love Titan luz’s form, I wish she could keep some of the design aspects or was able to transform between forms

The irony of Belos saying that he's human is that he's the only one melting from water. The actual witches aren't.

The form may have been temporary, but i headcanon that Luz still has the soul/spirit of a Titan (Not the Titan, *a* Titan)

Saying it all dramatically because she’s just that confident. Freaking badass

I like the detail that Luz in titan witch form didn't get burned by the boiling rain

I wish that she kept something from the look after powering down, like her tooth, purple hair or eyes

Now that I think of it, Luz vs Belos was basically a fight between the metaphorical heart (feelings) and the physical (plus parasite).

Funny that Luz accomplished what Belos said the day of unity was about: unite with the titan

Disney protagonist are getting 'super forms' alot more frequently latley and I love it!

If this hadn't been disney I would have been worried that given the limited time she would have the Titan magic before it faded, that once it went, she would be saying goodbye as she would fade away again

I loved how her titan look looks like a combination of King and Eda! It's just... I love it!

Eda is like a mother type of happy with luz n her magic during this whole thing😊😊

Luz is basically a fusion of all three of them rolled into one. King and herself obviously but that fang hanging over her lip is reminiscent of Eda’s which she has had since the beginning. Of course Luz would want to emulate her beloved mentor as much as she could.

Literally the best character power up form I've ever seen

I still don't understand how anyone could hate this series. The music, voice acting, art and plot is phenomenal

everything about the final bout is great. eda helping luz draw her first magic circle, king and luz working together. i especially love luz magic colour scheme, that black and purple is so pretty. the sound of her claws tapping on the ice as she runs and the boiling rain glinting off her. jeez what a ending edit: i didnt notice when shows close up of her eyes, all the other glyphs are there too, not just the light glyph. so much detail in every frame

the hair, the eyes, the little fang, the clothes!!! she looks a like eda!!!

I really wished Amity, Willow, Gus, Hunter, and Camila saw her form 😭 Amity would've nerded out seeing her Azura-like Titan form

I really thought that the ending would have King acending to real Titan kinghood and like, ripping Belos from the Island himself, Luz being his guide to remain himself and not lose his mind to his powerup, but this was still so freaking awesome I'm not even upset. The fact that it actually ended with the protagonist letting the villain die despite being told 'she is better than this' was also immensely satisfying.

This is the best ending for the show I could have asked for with the showing being cut short. It was so unique and honestly one of the best animated shows ever, especially for Disney. I'm really really hoping for a spin-off or even a sequel in the future. The Owl House crew and Dana did an amazing job and Thanks To Them, we got the best Disney show ever, can't wait to see what Dana does next, until next time weirdos, BYEEEE

Only TWO I repeat TWO shows have finales rivaling this masterpiece. Amphibia and gravity falls.

Liz’s Titan witch form was beautifully designed and badass. I absolutely love her look I geeked out seeing it the first time. Love, love, love it!! The animation of her design, spells, and fight scenes were great! If u put Luz and the calamity trio from Amphibia together in the same scene. Those girls would be a power force together.😁💜🧙🏼‍♀️✨🦉🐸💎💙💖💚

Damn if Belos was this powerful taking the power of the Titan and being able to take out the collector with ease, imagine the power of the archivists 😮
