The great cathedral of San Salvador in Oviedo (Spain) houses an extraordinary relic, revered since the ninth century. It's a veil, soiled with reddish stains, which seem to be blood. Are the stains that cover the Oviedo veil really made with the blood of Christ?

This is very interesting and definitely inspires me to find more about the cloth. I have read a lot about the Shroud but next to nothing about the cloth. Sudarium of Oviedo is fascinating.

Lost me talking about the actual authenticity of the historical Jesus, which is not in dispute. Should have just gotten down to the cloth itself

It was after HIS DEATH and the Roman's destroyed the temple that they called it Palestine. So it basically wouldn't be called Jerusalem.

Just by a different name. Has always been contested and important to the various religious factions. Israel didn't exist for thousands of years until it was created on said land. And that was/is contentious as it gets.
Some interesting facts were featured in this video, but they were bracketed between bizarre fantasies about cloning Christ. Bellybuttonism at its most extreme...
