This is a film that sounds interesting and a must see when it is released in the theatres. Ronan may receive her fifth Oscar nomination.

She even has Steve McQueen's World War 2 drama Blitz coming out later this year. So she'll either get a leading actress nomination for either this or Blitz depending on which one makes a STRONGER impact with audiences and critics alike. Blitz does seem like a bigger film in scale though whereas this one sounds "too niche" for most audiences.

Ronan has been trying to win an Oscar for 15 years.

Where can I watch it?

It seems odd to complain about the fact that films have been made about alcoholism before! Of course there have been, and many more will, no doubt, be made in the future. But, surely, it is the way in which the material is handled and how a character is embodied that should determine the value of a film? Given that you seemed happy with Saoirse Ronan's performance, a score of 6/10 seems rather disappointing.
