I'll be recording a Q&A video this next week and posting it in a few weeks. If you've got a question you've been dying to ask me, here's your chance! (For reference, the last Q&A video I did was nearly 6 years ago 😄) Reply to THIS comment with your question, and I'll try to answer it in the video. -Tristan

Do you have any desire to travel out of the states to do any exploration videos in other countries? If so, which ones?

Any archive footage of a mini-Tristan trekking about in pre SUV RVing days? I bet there is a shot of you in a stroller summiting Mt Whitney.

If you could see 49 states and never go to the 50th, what state would you not go to and why that one?

Where do you get your music from?
Not sure if you have heated seats, but a front heated seat is great for keeping pizza warm! 😅

I love humans' creative impulse to make and share art using found or unconventional materials. How fun to find an unexpected canvas.

Well said!
The Wyatt Earp mine tour was very interesting. Never heard that he was also a prospector . Learn something new every day. Thanks.

Wyatt Earp was a great entrepreneur, even though he died broke. He was a capitalist through and through, it's a shame people only remember himfor the men that he killed

This Wyatt Earp tale has a lot of hyped fictional history based on very marginal evidence. Nice place for a trip though

He almost got killed out here where I grew up for trying to steal mining claims.
While driving in this part of California and Arizona I am always struck by the strange beauty of the craggy and sharp peaked mountains that are all over the area. I am also curious what they are like up close as I zoom by on the large highways so thank you Tristan for sharing a close up, way close up, vantage of them. You shoot some beautiful images.
The drone footage at the beginning is amazing. A lone soul on a dark and desolate mountain top. You were near Top Rock Gorge, I think that was a scene from the movie Into the Wild. Near there is Red Rock Falls. I don't know anything about the falls but maybe someone else does .
Thanks for stopping at the places I drive by. I need to explore more than just getting from one point to the next.

Don't worry, you're not the only one who does it 😁
California is the greatest!
Wow- love that rock art, very creative! What a fun day. Using your drone during the mountain ascending gave a dramatic effect to the hike. I really like that, well done.👍
Another great one, Tristan! Thanks for letting us join you on your unfrequented playground.

It was a neat spot, wasn't it?
Vidal Junction. I been down there this year and twice last year on my way to Mexico. Another KZreadr, I think it was Russ with RVerTV that was also at that house, within the last year. Nice video.
Little known fact - Arthur Fonzarelli was a partner with Wyatt Earp at the Happy Days Mine.

So that's where the TV series of Happy Days came from and "Fonzie" has same name.
The mine and history are amazing! Never knew about those.
You've really helped us remember to get out and hike or climb a mountain on road trips.
Tristan, I love the solo hiking you do and your enjoyment of solitude...
Great and impressive opening shot (+circle flight whilst on the mountaintop). Always love your en-route timelapses; quickly and simply they give a good indication of your surroundings :-)
Thank you for highlighting another area of our beautiful state here in California. You are correct in stating the diversity of our landscape is amazing. Always love the drone footage.
Your drone work is incredible! Wow!

I watch a lot of You Tube an daily basis, and I mean a lot. This video is one of the reasons I watch a lot. Every once in a while I'm fortunate enough to run across one that's exceptional. I really enjoyed, thank you.

KZread is my new TV.
I love the drone footage and scenery from the top. Absolutely beautiful, and I get your fascination with high points.
I’ve been following your channel for years now- so glad to see you are doing well - that opening drone shot was great . A very desolate area , stay safe and thanks
Informed, articulate, prepared, and entertaining. Good work bro.
Tristan, after watching this several times I have to tell you that it is my favorite video, cinematically speaking. Either you have been going to film school, are a natural cinematographer, or (I suspect) you are trying out techniques and learning from all your experience. The portion that really shines is your set up at 8:07, a casual conversation with the subject mountain lingering in the background, then the lead-in and following shots as you ascend, the fantastic reveal shot at 9:56 as Tristan comes into the picture, 10:23 when the movement starts at the same time as a pull-back, the somewhat gratuitous back-dolly (but I love that move) at 10:39, and then the resolve to an intimate conversation at 11:01. Great timing, variety, technique. You are really getting good at this. Kudos.
Thanks so much for creating and sustaining some of the absolute best content on KZread! It’s always a treat to follow your adventures. Thanks also for being a steady source of inspiration to those of us who look forward to following in your footsteps! Keep on SUV RVing!
I like the music you have as you are headed up the mountain hike.
Hello, that bridge that you’re near on the Colorado river,on the California side, on the left, is the town of Earp. It’s only probably about 2 acres. There’s a post office on it, that’s it. I haven’t been through there in about seven years so I imagine it’s still there, as old as it is.
Beautiful desolate place! One of my favorite places in AZ is Parker, an oasis in the desert! I don't remember exactly where but I've been told there is an old Japanese internment camp near there. After crossing the bridge I've always have made a right and travel up to Parker Dam. Lot's of wild burros and beautiful landscape.
Nothing like a beautiful desert sunset 😌
Another great adventure, Tristan. Thanks for taking us along!
That climb was amazing. Thank you for sharing. Awesome scenery. We used to do these travels but are to old now but you give us back memories of the good Ole days.😊
What a great and informative videos you have. Thank you
Thanks Tristan, loved it all! Beautiful on top of the mountain, and the art👌. Always amazed by human creative talent. Looking forward to your Q&A's.

I am headed to Southern California next month but that part of the state is not on my agenda. I will stick with the attractions in Dan Diego. Thanks for another great video.
Awesome into shot!
I loved almost all of your video, from the Earp Home to the Desert Art, the high mountain peak was awesome too!
Climbing that peak in such a short amount of time is actually quite an achievement, especially is you manage not to sprain an ankle.
These rough craggy peaks are strangely appealing. Thank you for exploring this area.
Closing in on 200k MrT. Great content sir☺️ Any thoughts on the LandCruiser?
Terrific camera 📸 work. I love hiking with you. Next time we go could we take some pizza 🍕?

You’re the B roll master Tristan.
I've watched a fair number of your vids but never commented. This was exceptional in its cinematic presentation and in transitions. I enjoyed travelling with you and I was surprised 24' had passed.
Oh cool, have been to that little house. Growing up near Tombstone, Wyatt was always a hero.
Love the aerial footage, especially the dramatic opening scene!
I can see and hear how happy u r on top of that mountain. It was beautiful up there. As always I thank u so much for doing these videos for us people who are not able to do these hikes. Question for ur next video. If u are out 1 to 3 weeks what do u do for showers when it's cooler weather.

Truck stop showers usually 👍
my favorite part is predictably the climb to the top, the view from up there, and drone video of same... beautiful, thanks for sharing...
I think the Mt. peak was my favorite. That's wild to get up there.
Let's go back and explore that mine.
Great drone footage on this one, Tristan! Thanks as always for taking us along. 🙏👍🏼☮️
You’re a smart man, not going down there without the right equipment. A few decades ago, some kids went down the local mine, right after it rained, and the gases got them.
At first glance I thought it was spiderman up there. Then I thought its fitting.
I’m always happy to see the art you find. There was really a lot of recent rock art in this video.
I did enjoy this video. Interesting, and very different!

I am impressed by your Drone shots. Beautiful and great spot selection. Thanks.
I'm native Los Angelino and have spent a lot of my life going out to the Parker Strip and Havasu since I was a little kid. I have at least a dozen friends who live full-time out there and more that have vacation homes out there. I have always wondered why the Colorado River doesn't create the lush green land along its banks and filling its valleys like other rivers. I understand it is the desert but even deserts have oasis where there is ground water and or rivers and streams. It's always been puzzling to me.
very crisp and colorful cinematography, great drone shots!!
Pretty cool looking hike up that ridge. King of the hill! I don’t like olives but pepperoni and jalapeño is my go to Pizza.
I had no idea CA had an area like that, I would enjoy the art walk.
I'm only 10 minutes into this, but what a view from the top! 🔥🔥🔥
The rock art was a pleasant surprise!
I think that easy/medium mountains in the middle of nowhere probably get climbed less than taller more difficult mountains. For people to even be in the neighborhood to climb mountains like this they need to be in the section of the Venn diagram where 'Mountain Climber' and 'Four Wheel Drive Enthusiast' overlap. These people are probably mostly looking for a challenge and wouldn't think of climbing a mountain that wasn't tall enough or difficult enough. I'd greatly enjoy it if you sought out more of these forgotten easy/medium mountains to climb. The views from up there were fantastic, and just think how neat it is, every year there are over 500 summits of Everest, but you were the first guy on top of this mountain in two years. There's something magical about that. Climbing forgotten mountains is good vibes. Wonderful video.
Beautiful panview shots when you were on top of mountain! 😎
You are an exceptional artist. Your video editing is the best!
i believe there is a picture of the camp with him and her .
My google maps are filled with so many pins of places you show off in your videos. The desert art one is yet another place I want to check out.
Wow, very cool video. I loved the art garden. Thanks for sharing! Pizza is my favorite food as well. 😂
Nice drone work! 👍
That drone footage was some of the best I've seen from you so far. Even though it wasn't a crazy mountain range it just looked awesome.
Thus video was great & informative, especially about Wyatt Earp & the land art!!! WOW!
A really great video. Never new about that area and enjoyed it so much. I have never traveled so much before and now I go places and don’t spend a penny thanks to folks like you on You Tube. ❤️❤️❤️👍❤️❤️❤️🙏
Thanks for sharing, I love these types of locations!! Pinned, saved and on my list :)
Beautiful!
Awesome day of adventure, great video. Bagging the rarely visited craggy peak and the desert art was sublimely best!
Fantastic drone footage!
As always, informative and fun!

As I watch this, I'm camped near the Turtle Mountains Wilderness, close to Vidal. I will definitely check out Wyatt Earp's house and mine. Thanks again for populating my must-see travel list! Another great video!
Great job! Enjoy the remote areas as well!
Thanks for another excellent video.
wow! what a great hike up that craggy mountain! thanks, Kristin!
Thanks for taking us along ~~
Totally enjoy your videos! Truly inspiring!
This was a nice introduction for me to the Parker/Havasu area. Looks much more interesting than Quartzsite (but glad Quartzsite draws in so many as there appear to be so many in this area already).
I just discovered Savahia Peak last month on a desert road trip! A great hike with a fine view, and lots of good camping nearby. Next time check out Cupcake Mountain and Castle Peak near Parker Dam!
Hi Tristian, Loved that you explored Wyatt Earp’s mine. I always learn something in your videos! Most of all I am intrigued when you climb a mountain and share the registry with us. I love that there is a formal record.
You absolutely CRUSHED those drone shots. Awesome episode. Safe travels, friend!
Awesome views with your drone! Thanks!
I really enjoyed the drone shots of desert art. You do have an interesting life.
Another awesome video!

I enjoyed the view from your hike up the craggy peak. I also very much enjoyed the desert art and the drone shots from both spots. Nice sunset, too. 😊
Epic drone footage. Nice mix of geography, history and art in this one.
Great Video😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
