Gordon does a better job acting like a Krill in this scene than when he's actually undercover on the Krill ship.

The look on Ed's face when he admits he's scared. I really believed it.

I love how throughout the series Kelly is always telling Ed to be careful, not because she cares but because

“ I want you to eat my weapon.” “ I’m scared off my [butt].” This scene was almost too funny.

Best part is Isaac probably knew what was going on the whole time and said nothing. He learned well from Gordon's lesson on practical jokes.

"oh Avis, please cover the loss of our vehicle" 😂😂😂

What is also good about this scene is that the joke part is not just there for laughs, it is as the captain said used to try to relax them a little as they are going to a dangerous missions and lot of people who are afraid to do something use humour to calm themselves down as well, which just shows that even the jokes have a valid reason to be there.

The Orville is what Sci fi fans have to enjoy and remember the real feeling of the Star Trek Series,in a few episodes it has achieved a perfect mix of stoy,Comedy,character development suspense action and most of everything else we came to love from Previous series !

Im actually loving this show.. I remember when Bortus was about to sing Celine Dion. Hahaha

This moment has sort of a MASH feel to it; two people in the military about to do something deadly serious and make a joke about it to lighten the mood. Also, you have to admit that this scene was pretty funny.

The Orville is what you would get if you mixed Family Guy and Star Trek TNG. I like it.

Ed says he's scared off his butt. I've never heard such an expression. But I never doubted how fearful he and Gordon were about setting foot on that Krill vessel. And the ending of this episode - so intense.

I really wish they got Seth Mac farland to direct/write the new star treks. He did a good job here

Not gonna lie, I am impressed how they managed not only to sell their discount Star Trek as a parody, just by throwing in few jokes here and there, but also how the characters, script and acting is way better than the actual modern Star Trek. I am way more invested in the horny sentient jelly that mostly exists in the script to make pervy jokes than I am in anybody on Discovery.

Better than Discovery, and it’s a comedy. Says a lot.
