I’ve seen entitled white women badly mistreat people of every colour, gender etc., when they don’t get their way. I’ve also seen Black, Latino, Asian exhibit the very same behaviour. I’m 47 and I grew up in the “I’d like to teach the world to sing” era where seeing colour wasn’t the done thing. We saw the person. How we circled back to this idk but I’ve never seen so much division and hatred in my life. It’s really sad -

I’m sorry. My real name is Karen. I am a grown-ass teacher who teaches social studies. My students teases me when I give 42 videos to watch. They sometimes rant by using my name as Karen. It was not funny. I prefer to be called Kelly. Whenever they prank me, I always give them 4 times the original homework. So call me Kelly. Don’t spam “Yo name’s Karen” in the comments. A mother asks me “why aren’t you playing with my son? Whalen he hits others” Yes this happened, there was this boy in building i live in (its an apartment) he had anger issues and use to hit people who anger him so me and my friends avoided him. Then apparently he complained to his mom that no one is playing with him so his mom asked us why aren’t we playing with him so we told her that he hits others and said “my angel wouldn’t hit anyone!” But we had proof:someone with a black eye and then she said and i quote “that’s just make up! You are bullying my angel and hitting him!” So the black eyed person splashed water on his eye and it dint come off and a girl and her friends came up and said “ma’am with all due respect i have recorded a video of your son hitting someone and played it she saw and the look of terror on her face made me so happy I muttered under my breath”that’s what you get! And then she took her son and ran away that’s the last I’ve ever saw of them

The biggest Karen I had experienced was this one teacher who wasn’t even my teacher in my high school. This particular lady I believe was a special ed teachers aid of some sort and somehow found she could target me when she wasn’t watching her student. Mind you, she wasn’t in my classes as I wasn’t in the SPED program. So one day, this was before class had even started. We were hanging out Mr and my friends by a school bus stop just chatting when out of nowhere this Karen come from behind where I was and starts eavesdropping in my conversations with my friends. She then gets close u tip I bring to her attention that she can’t be barging into my private conversations like that. She’s be hanging out there standing outside the building or outside and she’d say excuses me and got right at my face and said if you don’t shut you’re mouth, we gonna have to send you to detention or am I gonna have to call your mom etc. I said get off my face ma’am repeatedly and please stop barging into my conversations like that. I told her ma’am I am not a little child please stop barging into my conversations and get off my personal space I told her. She freaked out, ran off to tell my teacher about how I’d offended her and in tern ran to the principals office to cry to him about what I said. And yes, she was a white middle aged woman. All in all, I got in trouble with the school but thankfully I managed to shove this under the rug and not tell my parents about it, knowing how my parents were (yes, they too were narcissistic) and I’m no longer in contact with for other reasons. I hid this from them because I knew I’d be double screwed. To to the white Karen teachers aid. Please stay away from other people conversations and stick to your own or else you’re gonna get video taped and called a Karen.

Carrying 50 lbs of equipment and a stuffy respirator while putting out fires in a burning building. Agricultural work. Pretty much anything from Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. And many others...

It all came about because I was telling my mom about a b*tch a school one day and she had one of them Laqueshaneshtria names. So, when it came time to tell the story my mom asked what the chick's name was I was like... " What was it Tyquesha? Laquasia? Tyquaisha? F*ck I don't know, let's just call her Quita!".............. and it stuck. This was 4 yrs ago btw and I still use the term "Quitas" and "Quita-squad" (for the b*tches that always be hanging with Quita) to describe this stereotype.

The very people who speak out about injustice and bullying, stereotyping and discrimination are fine with and even encourage, attacking almost 3 million innocent women (number of women roughly, named Karen). Pathetic. It says more about THESE people, than it actually does about anyone named Karen.
