Orient offers automatic watches with 200m of water resistance and now with sapphire crystals. They seem to becoming what Seiko should have been.

All of the new colors look pretty good but my favorite is definitely the blue one cause blue is my favorite color 😁 I already have a blue Mako 2 with the pepsi bezel and I love this watch. But the 'Safari' color with the white dial looks really nice, would look awesome with a leather band, like a Royal oak safari

The new releases are definitely the proper "Mako III".

I like the Explorer style numerals and the White is my favorite colorway because there simply aren't that many white divers. Oh, and I love my red Kamasu so may pick up this one too.

I’ve always preferred the Mako to the Kamasu but chose the Kamasu due to sapphire.

Got my Mako II before the Komatsu came out so I upgraded to a double domed sapphire crystal and a really nice bracelet with solid end links and screws to size it. Also upgraded the bezel to one that takes SKX inserts, I put a lumed sapphire insert in the new bezel. Now it is really nice.

Got to pick one up. And just like every orient I’ve ever bought it will be on an aftermarket bracelet before I even put it on the wrist… The weak spot of all of these orient divers is the bracelet… my Kamasu is on a jubilee bracelet with solid and links and a milled clasp… $30-$40 and it transforms the watch…

Did they make the crown operable for adult fingers? Did they upgrade the dhgate bracelet?

No. They also discontinued the ray 2 an are not upgrading it like this which is retarded the ray 2 outsold the rest of their range 3 to 1 its the skx discontinuation all over again.

Классные часы, но один изъян сводит всё на нет.... Касаемо безеля, в какой светлой голове родилась мысль, испортить вид безеля, выщерблеными , как от напильника , углублениями .... Зачем?????? Сделать определенный патент на безголовое изобретение и узнаваемость Ориента???Но не таким же безобразным путем , как обрезание ????? Такое впечатление , что напильник попал в руки идиоту и он пытался перепелить по безелю корпус Мако 2..... Этому дизайнеру я бы по рукам прошёлся в лучшем случае линейкой, это ему ещё повезет.... Ориент, одна из самых любимых марок в СССР, когда я рос и держал, наверное, в руках, одни из первых импортных японских часов , и марок у меня Ориента было штук шесть.... Сейчас есть и швейцарские, но Ориент всё равно люблю , это моя молодость....Поэтому так пристрастен , может и излишне, но тупого издевательства не терплю...........

Jubilee bracelet would make these watches more appealing ..

My favorite is a Swiss dive watch with proper QC. Never again Orient.

The older models of the Mako 2 are discontinued (the ones with the mineral crystals) looks like these will replace them!
