On this episode of TestDrive Spotlight we hit the road in the 2024 Jaguar F-Pace SVR P500, a 5.0L Supercharged V8 compact luxury crossover with 542 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. This performance SUV is the only to offer a V8, and we make sure we enjoy every single ounce of it. We go over some of the technical specifications of this SUV along with information about the F-Pace. We then hit the road, talking about the overall performance, ride, drive, and feel of this vehicle.

ngl im considering trading in my brand new 2024 genesis gv70 specd out for one of these. the genesis is truly an AMAZING car but this sound and powerplant omggg i NEEED ITTTT

I really enjoyed my time with this one! The Genesis is a perfectly good luxury vehicle, but if you want something with personality there isn't much out there that offers as much as this Jaguar.

Great review. Ive been looking at these for a while. Being supercharged, how does the lag compare to the turbocharged suvs from Mercedes and BMW? Especially higher road speed merging or overtaking maneuvers? I just found your channel and subbed, looking forward to following along.

There's a bit of a lag, but the V8 itself has plenty of go power. I never felt I had issues with it on the highway, could pass traffic easily. I'm driving the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio right now and feel the F-Pace SVR is the natural competitor over the Germans. Both are unique in the marketplace, and offer an exotic experience over the BMW/Mercedes.

I'm thinking about buying one before the year is out. 2023, and the 2024 I see no changes. Also what about reliably after five year warranty is up? I don't hear much talk about that in Utube .

The reliability is probably poor long term. I lease cars like this only (currently x3m).

Jaguar isn't known for their reliability, that's all we can say really since we only have these vehicles for a week.
4 zone climate controle and gesture tailgate are options.

Gesture tailgate is not an option on the SVR - at least from MY '21 and forward. 4 zone has come and gone and come and gone, chip shortage.
