Ross, I have watched many of your videos as a complete green pea knowing absolutely nothing about day trading and I'm thoroughly impressed. Not only by your results, but also by the way you teach and explain day trading. Your way of teaching is very clear and concise and the lessons resonate with me. As a professional poker player, I see a lot of correlations between the the two. Taking risk, getting out when you are ahead, and understanding what a smart invest is compared to a poor one. I guess investment would be the wrong wording since day traders get in and out quickly.😊 I really want to become a member of your warrior trader community and dedicate myself to learning as much as possible. One day I hope to trade full time just like you. One thing I am curious about is what computers and equipment you would recommend for the best chance of success? Also, what is the best platform to start using for paper trading. I wish I could be around you in person and soak up all your knowledge, but hopefully being apart of your community will give me better insight.

Ross, Would you consider an episode for traders beginning to “turn the corner”? When to scale up shares, when to push yourself, etc? Small account here- trading with 1,000 shares and goal is .20c out of the market a day. I’ve been profitable and I believe I am turning the corner as you say. What now? Agreed - I am in the same place! Although last 2 days the momentum was so good I I pushed .60-.80c on a 1,000 shares - 2 best days in a row yet . Have been trading part time (I have a 12hr a day fulltime job) for about 18 months.

Ross thank you.. This has to be the very best lesson on basic scalping that i have ever seen. It is sooo detailed and so easy to follow you are the greatest.. YOu have just made my list of the top trainers that I will hire as i get more funds to bring myself to the next level. Thank you ... Please do more like this.

@@DaytradeWarrior Not knocking the activity, if you can make money by skimming profits between button clicks then more power to you. It's just technically incorrect to refer to the activity as an "industry", as there are no goods or services being produced.

When I see someone else much higher than I, I first ask "how many shares did they use vs how much did I use." to put it in perspective. So I look for what PERCENTAGE they increased or Per Share they went up. That is why I appreciate those who list the SHARES they went up or down, so I can relate to them.

Great video Ross!! I've been day trading for 3 years now, and was lucky enough to get in right when the market really started to take off post covid..I made out pretty dam good up till about a year ago.. unfortunately I took a huge loss, after having my best month ever.. Since then it's been pretty Rocky to say the least..I definitely got very cocky and careless and got burned Bad.. The strategy I was using up to that point was working out great, unfortunately since then not so much, but I've been hanging in there thanks to having a nice cushion to work with.. well now I'm getting down to the nitty gritty and need to turn it around fast.. not to mention this market is so tough to trade in right now.. Anyway I'm going I try and implement your strategy to hopefully get back on track!.. thanks again for the info

My question is, regarding the whiteboard example of the $.15 profit at 1000 shares, What size of an account was this example and what was the stock price for this example? What was the percentage of your Account were daytrading for this example. many thanks

As a day trader, I can confirm this video is super amazing. By luck it happens I am also buying pullbacks on the 9 EMA as my main strategy. I would highlight something Ross forgot to say but it is visible on his charts. Many times the 3rd pullback has very poor volume. I pay extreme care when buying a pullback, to have a significant volume on my trade. Many times I use a fast-length moving average line over my Volume indicator so I can more easily see the change in relative volume.

It's funny how we think we have it all figure out ... and then we blow up our account. Again ! And then Ross reminds us of all the basics.... and it makes sense.. again ! LOL I also really enjoyed your book. Not many trading books have as many clear charts to explain the trading setups or trends. Yours is awesome. Makes it easy to understand the many subtleties inherent to visualizing charts and day trading in general. My entries have been good without using the 9 EMA but my sizing has been lacking and my exit could be better. Obviously I need to incorporate the 9 ema and work on my signal indicators and sizing through the move. Excellent video thank you. 👍🏻

I wish you had flash cards on these rules, stragies, candle examples. I would so buy them. Would be so handy. I want to put on note cards and laminate them.

I am just starting and currently using paper trading as you suggested, test in paper trading for at least a month. I took 9 trades (6 wins & 3 loss) so far. As always great content and love your teaching method. ❤

Really great educational video. For most of us that take your teachings and are members all of this is spot on what you preach. Im currently on the simulator ( TD Ameritrade ) and on a consistent winning streak. very minimal red days and small losses. However I feel stuck on my stock selection. I see your recap and notice I don't even have those on my scanners. Could you show us on a video how to use our scanners to find the stocks you find based on what you mention? if even possible on TOS TD meritrade ? Id really appreciate it

This was some great information Ross.Thanks so much for providing all of the great videos and information. Big fan here. I have been watching a lot of your videos and appreciate the fact that you provide the good, bad, and the ugly (lol). I recently began funding my small day trade account. In the mean time, I have been practicing in a simulated account. My goals for now are to work on a strategy, minimize any losses, fine tune my entry and exit points, and to get comfortable day trading. In the simulated account, I've had 6 trades on the week with one of those being a small loss. I'm also trading in a way that would shadow money I have available to trade in my own account. I'm learning a lot. This video had several touch points which I hope to use. Hahaha, emotion was one of them. It's really easy to explore, test, and trade in the simulated account. Day trading with my own account is when I get shy. And I am restricted to the PDT rules which I'm ok with. I just have to work on quality trades. Thanks again for all the great content.

Hello Ross, Very new trader and ive notice on my level 2 instead of showing the Market Maker in the name section it shows the MPID. Searched every setting on the platform and there is no way to change it. It does still show the stacks the same (from what i can tell) but cannot differentiate between different market makers comming in and out as everything basically is listed as NSDQ. is their any concern to this or is it relatively irrelevant thanks for all your work i look forward to every video you come out with and hope to be able to be a warrior member in the future
