Hi. Was wondering why you favor candles and not any of the other chart styles? Have you played with all of the styles are there any exceptions? Thanks.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I just have to celebrate with you all. I’ve been watching Ross’ videos for over a year now, learning all I can. I do not have a lot of money and have a full time job… so I’ve been thinking of trying to do some trading on the side to supplement my income, but am very nervous. I started trading on paper just to get the hang of it and have developed a record of success with- taking 1-2 trades a morning. Today, I traded with real money for the first time (only $50 lol) but I made $6 on that trade. I saw the trends, saw the micro-pullback in action, and let it rip. Then I knew where the resistance would hit and sold at it. I captured nearly 80% of that small move and couldn’t be happier. I closed the laptop and walked away for the day - taking the win. As you can probably tell, I’m playing very safe and conservative - but I want to make good choices. Thank you Ross for your teaching and channel. I appreciate the effort you put in for others. I’m sure I’ll continue to develop my confidence and start making bigger and riskier trades eventually. But, for now, I’ll take my $6 😊

awesome, what platform are you using?

I can't listen to you for an hour and not learn somthing rewarding. 10% of $4.40 is $.44 and a if you want a 2 to 1 ratio you divide $.44 by 2 equaling $.22 and place your stop. I've never heard anyone explain it like this and it's so much easier to understand. Superb Ross.

Just for those who want a term to describe this pattern. It is called a 1st Entry Long. It is the first time the price broke above the high of the previous candle in the long (up) direction. After watching tons of videos with what seems like missing information, I came across your channel and it just made sense to me. My first trade I used your technique and made $65 with $515 investment in PXLW. It was scary watching the candles go in the red, I wasn’t prepared for those emotions but before I knew it we were back in the green and I made my 10% profit. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

When you talked about stair stepping down that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. I get to my account high then I have a big loser to bring it back down and fight for weeks to get back. Glad k found your videos.

Excellent video. For these entry setups, would you recommend sticking to the 1 min, or the 5 minute chart? I understand that it may be situation dependent, but curious if there was a consistently better timeframe for identifying these patterns.

I've watched your videos along with others and noticed this difference. Swing traders, along with many day traders, do their prep work the night before. Your strategy of scanning for stocks moving up quickly mean no need to do the prep work the night before since it bases mostly on how the stocks move when market opens. Do you still do prep work the night/weekend before? If so n what? Thanks for spreading knowledge.

Fantastic tutorial ross, I enjoyed this teacher trader video, more than any of the others. Its just the way you explained it, so thorough and professional, no one I don’t think could do it better. As for me it’s another great warrior tutorial under my belt and with each video ross, I get more knowledgeable, so that’s a really good thing. Thank you for that. 🙏🙏 One question please, it seems every thing starts with the screener you got! Now how WE can find the right stocks to buy? I have seen some of these filters on the broker I just registered on (IBKR) but how am I supposed to filter on relative metrics like daily avg. volume, and 10%-up stocks?

I started on Robinhood with about $21 from getting a friend to join who gave me rides when hitch hiking and traded it up to $35 over a month using RobinHood's amazing scanners. I traded every day and pined for more day trades every moment. I searched Google for "How to avoid PDT" and the answer was one of Ross' videos!! 🥰 Fate!!! I could see that covid did something miraculous to the market and I was loosing my career at the time in customer service ( being treated badly ) as the only one of my crew left behind to clean at a famous ski resort. I am pretty sure there is a list at the pearly gates of all the names of the people that thanked God for you and how many times they thanked him!!

I’m 15 minutes in and this is ONE IF THE BEST VIDEOS I HAVE SEEN ON KZread LATELY!!! This is what we need, more of THIS!! ACTUALLY TEACHING SKILLS, I am tired of KZread just having videos that are motivational BS!! LOOK IM MOTIVATED!! I’m ready to make money!! I’m DESPERATE!! I don’t need to be motivated anymore. I want to actually LEARN but I don’t have thousands of dollars to buy a good program, but if you can give me enough TO START MAKING SOME MONEY, I will be grateful enough to you TO BUY ALL OF YOUR PROGRAMS THEN!!! So I love your Videos. I have been using this concept. I find that It works best in the mornings between 10 and 12 am. I used a fixed profit I wanted to make and that created mentally for me a better experience without the highs and low feelings.

Nothing but Respect! I took warrior pro mentorship program for two years . I have been through all the classes and printed those chart and pinned across my trading room . After having so much trouble with emotional trading finally I become breakeven for the first time this month , going back to basic buying only pullback . And thank you Ross again for all hard work you do for us putting out such a great content. This class remind me again how to stay calm and be consistence in the market . Appreciate it boss man . Excellent information! I watched another video he did about small accounts. I found out too that you can realistically make 100 per day but you need to have at least 5k to do so. First time I heard someone speaking honestly on this topic

Really great video! I’m guessing the majority of people don’t realize how valuable and on-the-money many of your recommendations are (pun intended). A lot of your strategy encompasses many of the principles Al Brooks discusses in his “Price Action” series but you do a great job explaining things in a much more understandable way while focusing on those principles most important for your specific strategy. Thank you!

You mention being able to leverage trades above the account value. How do you get around having to wait for cash to settle because of the T+2 rule? Thank you for these lessons!
