This 1949 Mercury Custom was driven by Danny ( John Travolta) revival Crater Face in the 1978 Blockbuster!
After production, all of the vehicles from the movie were moved to Paramount's backlot.
Sadly, many of these vehicles were crushed during the various pushes from the EPA over the last 50 years.

the grease lightning 46 ford is at the Volo auto museum
Grease was a campy movie but at the "tender age" of 14, I was heavily influenced by it and at that stage in my life, it directed me into what I am today. I remember I saw it three times in one day at the cinemas. The sunday 3, 5, and 7 showing. It wasnt until later I found the movie American Grafitti, witch cemented my craze for mid century life style. On another note, 35 seconds with the ending logo is a bit heavy :) Keep it short on concise. No need to make the video longer than neccesary ;)
