Hi Kelly! How goes it? I'd like to know if your curling jelly can be used in place of the twist & loc gel when doing mini twists? Will it offer the same hold without wetting the hair too much?

Hi there!😊 If you want the roots to be really flat, then you will need to use the Braid and Loc Gel. However, if you want to avoid using the Braid and Loc Gel, then you can do your twists really small and you won't have to worry about fluffy roots. I hope this makes sense lol

Hello just found your channel how do you feel about gorilla snot gel for this style? For my roots?

Hi, I've never used gorilla snot gel. If it's a watery gel, then I wouldn't use it if you want to prevent shrinkage. I prefer to use something that will mold and hold my root in place without the curls reverting.

For type 4 hair I recommend using my conditioning curl cream to twist.
