My natural hair is crunchy as it is after years of perms, bleach etc. therefore, my hair looks dead unless its jam packed with mousturizers. Your hair is gorgeous though!!

My hair doesn't like mini braids as it tangles my hair for some reason. So I do twists, with a lil cute bang chyl.... Can't tell me nothing 🤣🤣😹😹. I have fine hair, and doing twist back to back has thickened up my hair ✌🏾🌿🌻☀️

Hmmmm... my best advice would be to leave some of your ends loose to give it a more fluffy look. Also, these get more voluminous over time. Week 4 is the sweet spot for me. 😊

Any tips for keeping the roots from matting up? I’ve tried this twice on my hair and by the end of day 10-14 my hair is a matted mess.

Yes. Keeping them dry really helps. I wash them once a month. Also, stretching your hair before braiding it is helpful. Good luck on your next set. Hope this helps 🤞🏾

Moisturizing the roots keep it from getting tangled/matted. I found rhat out the hard way…got in a deep depression during the pandemic and just stopped caring… bad idea. Moisturize feom root to end!
