My combo is 23 f2 and 50 f2

i almost sold my 27mm f2.8 v1 but decided to take it to my Portugal trip recently. OMFG it's so sharp even cropped. It's an amazing lens hands-down.

I have a Leica M11 with 12 lenses and the x-t1 is still my favorite!

My fav combo for travel/street is 16mmf2.8 and 27mmf2.8 with xpro2

I use the 14 mm and 27 mm for that purpose. Love it

Few months ago I bought 2 others second-hand lenses the 50-140mm and the 80mm f2.8. Beautiful and solid metal lenses and produce really sharp images. Just waow 📸📸

I have X-T4 with the 35 1.4. I really want the 18 1.4. I've heard so many good things about that lens.

My travel kit is the 16mm f/2.8 and the 27mm f/2.8 pancake - because the pancake is so small and light and unobtrusive. I'm considering bringing my 50mm f/2 as well next time.

I think you've convinced me to go with this setup. Europe has potential for beautiful wide angle shots where the 10-24 would excel in lit interior and during the day. You have the 50mm for medium range and darker situations, and then the 70-300 for capturing distant subjects. Heavier than this reel but not a super heavy setup. Optimal too. .

Pretty much the same travel setup. 10-24, 35 1.4 and 55-200 instead since the 70-300 wasn’t available yet. Covers pretty much everything. Only for Astro the wide angle is lacking.

Good comment, they also share filtertread size, are both good for low light and the 18mm is even smaller

This video exclusively convinced me to buy the Xt5 along with the Fuji 16mm 2.8, sigma 23 1.4 and 50mm. I took them on my trip through Italy and Spain last week and OMGGGG it did not disappoint one bit!!! I find myself dreaming about pictures and portraits! lol Thank you my friend!🙏🏼

@@JustinIkeda thats a perfect setup! Dont worry about the 16mm aperture! Its more than enough ! Even in some night scenarios! And also dont be afraid to stop down your aperture to 4-11! Youre gonna get great shots just as long as shutter speed isos are balanced out! Enjoy your trip!

If…if…i had to repeat the trip again, i would have probably gotten a zoom lense and my 23mm (35 equivalent). I had the 23mm on my about 90% of my time in europe. I used the 16mm for street and landscapes and the 50mm which is 75mm equivalent was used for portraits.

everyone has its Favs: for me the 16-55 2.8 Zoom and the new 33 mm 1.4 as a backup for the streets, things....

Agreed. The 35f1.4, 14f2.8, 60f2.4, and 18-55f2.8-4 have really special rendering. The first three make a great prime kit, but you can get away with only the zoom in a pinch.

What camera do you recommend. I need a camera for photography that will give edge to Sonys FF GM and Zeiss line up. I love small compact camera pro or mid pro category but does give the essence of fujifilm tech that can’t be found on other camera brands. Loving small format nowadays.

I am an Alpha shooter. I use 2 bodies + 2 lens. 24 1.4 on FF and 55 1.8 Z or 35 zeiss 2.8 on the Apsc and boom

I want Fuji to give us the original 35/1.4, but weather-sealed. I love the 35/2, but it lacks the character of the 35/1.4 (and the 33 is too large/heavy, IMO).

Unfortunately, it is difficult to weather seal the 35f1.4 due to the focus group design. But it would be fantastic if they somehow managed it with an updated motor.

Xc 15-45 is all you need. Lightweight, compact, image stabilization. Zoom.

or even more compact - the 18-135mm, one lens to rule it all.

when i travel i bring with me my xpro 3 and 6 lenses haha

Viltrox also ok for the Price 😃

The 18mm f/2 and the 35mm f/1.4 combo is good too, isn't it? Advantage is the f/2 and the compact pancake size. Disadvantage is the slower AF. I guess it depends on one's preference for 24 vs 28mm (FF) FOV...

Yes, that is a great combo. I wanted to get a second hand 18mm f/2 but it is so hard to find.

I need some suggestions hopefully you can help! I currently have the xpro 3 with a 27mmf2.8 and i would like to purchase another on hand to take it with me. I've been debating whether to get a 35mm or a 16/23mm. The 27mm makes it feel like I'm stuck right in the middle and its a tough decision! I tend to like taking landscapes and buildings around town/places I go to. Would love to hear some suggestions!

I would get the 16mm f2.8 and the 35mm f1.4. The 23mm f2 WR is a great lens, but it is too close to the 27mm. Maybe sell the 27mm and get the 16mm, 23mm, and 35mm.

16-80, 70-300 is where I live... though I been swapping out the 16-80 for the 18f1.4 lately hahaha

I take a fringer with a sigma 18-35mm f1.8 and a XF 56mm prime. All I need.

16, 23, 32 touit = perfect combo

They're nice lenses indeed, but I want a UWA lens for traveling.

Just went to Italy and I brought the 16 f2.8 and the 23 f1.4. They were a great combination. The 16 was on my xt2 all the time except for late at night when the 2.8 isn’t quite enough to maintain a reasonable iso.

That is a good combo if you don't care about AF speed. The 14mm is bigger and slower.

Take pictures with those lenses. After 1-2 months, review your pictures, which mm are you using the most? F2 is the max id go for primes..for wide id pick 18 f2 or potraits 35 f2

The two lenses I mentioned offer versatility across various genres, including landscapes. Their small and compact design makes them particularly convenient for travel photography.

Don’t tell me what I need 😂. Cause the last thing I need is a Fuji camera, to start with 😂.

If you want the lens for both photo and video, get the Fuji. If you want it just for photo get the Sigma.

I sold my Fuji 33 1.4 and replaced it with the older 35 1.4. I couldn’t stand the klunking of the new LM lens.

2 wide angle’s are rubbish for portraits so obviously not the only lenses you’ll need.

Did you read the the title? And 35mm (52,5mm on full frame) is not wide and a very used focal for portraits.
