Yo, perplexity is an AI-powered search engine (not a dedicated OSINT-tool) which I personally find quite useful for conducting research on any topic.

Its great for getting an introduction about your subject (if he's famous) as it is just providing the information already available over web. But I don't think it is of any use for actual OSINT which requires digging deep into the internet.

The web…that’s where we’re doing OSINT anyway right? Whoever builds a tool that just does AI magic for OSINT…will win!

I jusy tried this tool myself ,didnt find the 🦉 haha,Do you think we can expect more advanced AI OSNIT tools in the future, the way AI is developing currenly ?

Careful with some osint communities. A lot of doxxing goes on there… (not all ofc, more positive interactions if anything. Just be careful, it can get extremely toxic very fas Ofc with that being said, there’s a ton of great communities which really aren’t toxic. I do encourage seeking them out, can be a great learning tool.

Until Ai hallucination can be mitigated or identified more easily. I can’t imagine using AI for OSINT work is anything other than dangerous and bound to give you false results.
