always in the first 2 rounds, i crouch near the trap and place it as high as possible. Maybe the guide will have better tricks. edit: yeah they mentioned it in the attacking section.

I love just maining cypher in unranked and seeing people stumble into every one of my traps, and I’m still glad I watched this video because I had never found a good use for the cage other than protecting a teammate while planting, using the tripwire and the cage together is a genius idea I’d say, thank you so much for the tips

A good one round tip: Lurk and use the camera inside the entrances of sites then just spam the camera. 2-3 people would be watching on the site you are then let your team push an easy 2v4 take. Only works 1 2 3 times. Its really good when you want to make your team still on rhythm

There should be a rework on cypher's ult. It should show the targets moving

QOTD: I dont think it would fit the game. Just bhopping over molotovs or through walls of smokes can make it way too hard to defend. Also it could render some abilities useless or less useful like jett dash.

I've been waiting for this for so long

On Bind in B garden, there is a wooden plank that is leaning against the wall. In early rounds I recommend placing a wire there because it actually goes behind the plank, making it invisible to see. After a few rounds however people will just learn to jump over it so adapt and overcome

I actually prefer Cypher on A on Split simply because you can through camera onto the billboard and instantly know if they are pushing A or not and can then use camera to cover your team mate while grabbing the ult orb.

The most interesting thing to me is that once if he can get an enemy in his camera and fix the target, the enemy will be tracked down till he sees him again.

Bhopping would be insanely OP in the current build with how quickly accuracy goes laser after landing from a jump.

I have something to say about bhopping, if you are good at bhopping you could use it to walk to the other end where there is a entrance and it’ll make you a lot harder to get headshot and get hits on you

I usually love playing Intel characters. Glitch on rogue, seeing what rogues are in ur hack vicinity and seeing gadgets. And crypto on apex. But I'm scared to play cypher bc since I just started playing PC like that(valorant rly) idk if I can play an intel agent. Especially when I feel more comfortable with a duelist

Hi. I’m a new to the game and have only done a few dozens of unrated matches. I can now choose a new agent and cypher stood out to me. But I’m not sure about picking him this early since I’m still learning about maps, smokes and tactics. What are your thoughts on this? Ik I'm late but best way to play defense Cypher is set a cam up that looks at bomb and hold a long angle. Once they hop on defuse use cam to track them and peak. Most of the time they will smoke the angle u are holding but it doesn't matter if u can see them through the smoke. I've gotten so many satisfying plays like that.

Also don’t forget the op cam spots. Not the glitched ones but there are many very good spots

When I play cypher defending I usually put the camera on the opposite zone of where I am then i can just see that zone in one click and I always put a trapwire on the places the enemy comes from behind because it is just superfunny how they think they will ambush us and run into a tripwire

Raze is a counter too. Robot and granates can defuse traps

Cypher is lit

I definitely want better b-hopping

I think they should add bhopping because unless your playing omen or Jett movements kinda feels slow for the game I would also like if they added more healers and maps
