Thank you! The artificer is incredible and more than makes up for the lost damage from yourself if you whole team are on skills. I even use it on my healer build as the chem launcher alone is good enough for heals these days

If you run with friends, always have an artificer in the group. We used it next to a stinger hive and it was hitting over 700k per tick. Insane damage

I have multiple dps skill and CC build. It's a nice build, but im not sure about "the only" and "need to be running". Skill dps and CC has a shitload of great viable options and as long as you stick with the 1 CC and 3 dps rule you will breeze thru legendary missions. As someone pointed out there's really no footage of a legendary mission in this video. Personally I prefere the eclipse protocoll with trap/foam and the vile mask for spreading dmg and status effects all over the map. Im trying you build out later tonight in a legendary, it's allways great doing something different. Thx!

Thanks for the vid Wotsit, love your content in general. Not trying to be negative, just trying to learn and understand the game better, but you said in your video that 3p HW gives you more than 3p Murakami, and after calculating the stats weight, I don't come to the same conclusion. Assuming god rolls across the board, and not considering mod slots (as they are available equally on both setups): 3p Murakami gives you: 40% skill dmg (30% from attributes, 10% from set bonus), 36% skill haste (from attributes, logical 2nd roll after you've prioritized skill dmg), 20% repair skills (from set bonus), and 20% skill duration (from set bonus), for a total stat weight value of 116%. 3p Hard Wired gives you: 45% skill dmg (30% from attributes, 15% from set bonus), 15% skill haste (from set bonus, nothing from attributes as gear set have 1 less attribute slot), 30% repair skills (from set bonus), and 0% skill duration, for a total stat weight value of 90%. On the dps build you've shown, we can leave out Repair skills as it's a dead stat on it. Using 3p HW, we are left with 5% more skill dmg, but 21% less skill haste, and 20% less skill duration. I don't feel the 5% increased skill dmg is worth the trade off. Am I missing something?

You’re not missing anything, it’s only the 5% skill damage. But for pure skill damage with the turret and drone, it’s simply the best option (if barely)

If you are running Technician, you should run either 1 red or 1 blue as you don't have need for 7 yellow's. Personally I like to run some weapon damage. My legendary build goes for same skills, perfect combined arms and glass cannon, but also coyote's mask and a combo of CHC/CHD/Skill damage. 5 yellows, 2 reds and around 55% CHC and 170% CHD. Works quite well.

@@sgtfixer i switched it up and changed a wyvern piece for an overlord piece i looted with 10 skill damage on it arleady so got the 15 weapon and 10 rifle damage got the rifle to 174k and it hits even harder only lost 5 k on both skills which is nothing as the buff is bigger on the gun with the perfect n sync shreds

As you need to fire Harmony every 5 seconds to retain the 40% buff, you might as well use the backpack that rewards you for constantly shooting your enemy too. It’s also 5% more damage than tech support

Good vid going to try it out. On the first set you showed your skills have a 4.2cd. How the hell did you get that? I am using skill haste mods and mine is at 13.4.......

The shooting hall has a feature that adds a lot of haste, it's a new button on the wall!

With the technician specialisation, it gives you a free skill tier but looks as though your build is still at tier 6. Does that mean that you can swap out one of the gear pieces for either max armour or max damage to squeeze a bit more out of it, or does the specialisation silently overcharge? - not used to running skill builds and only just unlocked technician so I can make a skill build.

No you are right, I just haven’t had anything that I can roll a blue or red onto. Once I get something with skill damage already rolled I will change the core attribute. Good spot!

Hello Mr. Fox, a quick idea for the support build. Instead of the murakami, would a fox's kneepads rolled to skill damage help? I think the 8% applies to skills too, with technician you have 6 batteries still, and it has a bonus of flavour... fox, you know... Also, inspired by your newer build with capacitor, how much you need skill haste? Crit hit chance could improve weapon damage. Just an idea...

I put the comment on the wrong build. Too many tabs with "I am Fox" content open :). The idea came thinking about the one with btsu gloves, so gloves slot would be occupied. Also, Emperor's Guard is a tiny bit harder to get. Thank you for the reply, and of course, the content. Keep up the good work.

I rock the Mantis with Sawyer's, Vigilance, and Headhunter. If I land my shots and utilize the decoy properly - I can rack up kills quickly. The snowball is so real and so worth it.

Hi tried the one with the Artificer Hive, but used unbreakable because I am rubbish when squishy, but the turret was hitting Really hard when the Harmony hit I am sure when I over clocked using future initiative I saw 183 000 come up but it was hitting at 130 - 153 regularly. I have replaced my skill build with this one as the team benefit combined with turrets melts. I put the hive out next to my turret and arty turret and pot shorted during the opening of a Legendary mission I only used one Armour Kit in the whole run through Cheers

How you do Arena specially last boss with it? I did try it 2 men it with skill builds but we were unable to destroy the backpack on the last boss with it.

You can destroy it with sniper turrets or just have one of you on a weapon build for the last bit, that’s probably easier

Skills builds are good up until the boss I recommend a status effect player to foam him or blind him so your dps players shoot the backpack and then go for its head and also shoot out his mini gun ammunition on the side in order to force him to crouch its pretty much like a stun in a way. Anyone else have the issue with the drone having an avg life span of roughly 10 sec in Legendary? Seems like npcs kill them quickly. What is your opinions on an alternative? Thank you.

EMP or Oxidiser are both quite good in Legendary content. If you’re running with an Artificer in your team you can really use any secondary skill you want as your turrets will be doing way more damage

Do you have any update videos that cover this build? It seems like your skills are a little weak on damage compared to current skill builds

All 4 of you need to rush in to kill the EMP node. Then throw all turrets on the right side tables with the artificer abs pull back to safety

Using a vile/eclipse build (vile, 4pc eclipse, China light w/ glass cannon chest, all status effect rolled on demolition class) I am able to disable the emp node without opening the door in 3 pulses. Moreover, using the status build once inside in conjunction with shock traps aids in CC and DOT for capitol; specifically if your squad is already running multiple turret builds. :)

Curious.... does this work in The Summit? How would you deal with the invincible warhounds on 91-99?

Hard Wired is an easy way to hit max skill damage, so it’s best in slot. But then you miss out on other all gold combos, such as 3x Murakami with the Emperors guard. You can also spec into both skill damage AND status effects with all gold builds (mortar builds for example), but HW can be crafted and min maxed instantly. Both sides have their strengths.

@@IamFox My friend wants to run things like the Sticky Bomb & the Cluster Grenades, so your suggestion for Kinetic Momentum won't work (we're trying for a chest piece w/Glass Cannon atm), I know "I" have issues aiming the Artillery Turret in enclosed spaces, trajectory be damned XD. And with Hard Wired 4-piece being kinda bugged atm (he doesn't wanna swap off/on the backpack to fix the bug) we're at this funky mix-match build that I'm trying to help him get.

Does you pestilance build with Walker and Co still fit in here?

with 3 piece HW you re gonna lose some skill haste and skill duration compared to 3 murakami so not sure if the +5% skill damage is worth it, also i would use kinetic momentum on the chest piece , if you can keep damage with your gun on the mobs its +30% damage to your skills

I have never attempted a legendary solo but I assume a skill build would be the best way to do it!

Oh my God I just put the four piece HW with a Alps Summit vest with KM with the BTSU gloves tactition with the artificer and drone. Weapons primary the Harmony and pp-19 with insyc as well for up close burst. If it wasnt for the glitch on Heroic after four of us with skills and me buffing everyones skills we went through a rouge encounter so quick we glitched the game.

Hard Wired can be crafted and drops anywhere in game (targeted loot is your friend). However you don’t need HW, just swap it out for 3 Murakami if that’s easier.

@@IamFox but with the vile mask I often get top damage without damage skills. Plus getting rid of drones, disabling tanks, dogs, heal boxes. You'd be surprised. I run creeping death over the eclipse backpack as well which lowers damage but wreaks havoc even more. Add incendiary grenade and the suffering is amusing. Try it out i bet you'll like it. Running traps you have to initiate literally every combat and get in close enough to deploy with deep placement though.

Gonna give that first one a go since i have the pieces to farm for the second one, good shit brotha!

If it is a Specialisation one, you just need to upgrade it via SHD points like you would the rest of the skill tree. That automatically upgrades the sidearm to level 40

I do like that option but I lose too much damage. If you play far back you can stay alive and let your skills take aggro. That extra 5% goes a long way

All very good choices. It’s true that Legendary is rough without a solid team, if I’m not with my clan I’ll use LFG to get very one on mic so we can have a good run

My only concern is the Glass canon since you have to expose yourself to shoot and activate Perfect Sync :/ I tried a similar build wasn't very successful. But it looks good

You could use Kinetic Momentum, but as your skills take so much of the heat away from you I prefer Glass Cannon. Just don’t sit too close to your own turrets!

Thanks for helping out for div 2. But for me its over. I don't have fun anymore. Loot is poor and when you want too play heroic you need good gear. And i don't have that and i can play not more than 2, 3 hours a day.

No need. He can't kill the skills, with the hive in-place. Just finished the arena. Dude was VEXXED by all of those invincible turrets chewing his ass up.

Flying drone and Turret Tier 6 skill build all you need and burn through it. Good night everyone!

You can do Legendary without them, they are surprisingly less needed for skill builders, as they are better for resetting rez hives

I tried something very similar to this and do almost no damage; I cannot, for whatever reason, figure out these skill builds. Back to the "reds" for me :)

Technically there is none, but the highest combo currently is 3x HW, 2x Hana, 1x Wyvern with Glass Cannon and Perfect Combined Arms. Harmony, Artificer and Overcharge buff that further.

Yes that'll get u big numbers but u won't have enough skill haste to pump out that damage also tech support lasts much longer than combined arms and u can't always stick ur head up to shoot. Glass canon works if u never shoot ur gun but if u want something where u can actually survive a bullet or two use spotter or kinetic

Ain't hard to make... mine stand at 55chc and 160chd with MK16 at 134k base dmg. Add a vector 45 sbr 9mm for close fight and u good. I mean... you good to run heroic solo... not legendaries lmao... (unless you are a god)

Why does everybody think 3 piece hard wired is worth it? Do u not realize u can put more skill haste on branded gear? The only thing u get from 3 piece hardwired is 5% more skill damage which is not worth the skill haste lost from the attributes that u can put on branded gear

3 piece hardwire gives you only 5% more skill damage than running 3 pieces murakami and you loosing 36% skill haste for only having 1 attribute

It has been done, there are KZread videos showing the best way. I personally haven't attempted it however.

Spotter gives you the most damage on a body piece for turret and drone as it adds both the buffs to bullet firing skills giving you 30% multiplicative damage 😋

@@IamFox if you test it, make sure you test it in the DPS range as spotter won't proc on the AOE targets. It's a pain to proc in the range as u need to target the hinge to proc it and the collapsed targets in the AOE range prevent you targeting the hinge on the targets behind 😋

What i dont understand, if its 70 % buff, you said turret before artificer was 130k, and after was 170k. Thats not even close to 70% buff, it actually is doing 40% more damage. It should be 220k .. so i think there is a cap to how much skill damage a skill can actually do.

You could be right. Either that or it’s an additive and not multiplicative. Even so, it’s a lot of extra damage for you and your team and more than makes up for one person not running one extra damage skill

I have not yet watched the whole video but I notice you have 6 skill tiers from your gear and you are also playing with technician. You could just switch a skill. Tier for armor or weapon damage, and you would still have 6 tiers. Just a tip

Yeah I agree with that actually, skill builds are a safe way for new players to hit Legendary content however. Or for people that matchmake, they could use one of these builds and not have any problems

Thank you, my builds are usually for people trying to get into Conflict/Raids/Legendary content, so they might not appeal to the true hardcore gamer but I think they have a place in everyone’s loadout

can do legendaries in 25 to 30 min with a skill build. stopped using HW now use a new one thats better.

If you have a good team, artificer hive and overcharge you will smash through them

Cool build yes, but that mission at the end ain't a legendary one.

Just take your time, slowly improve your build and group up with experienced players! You’ll get there

I guess I just get lucky then, a few people have said that they haven’t noticed the difference. I’ve had so much god tier loot from Legendary since the update though

We run them daily, the loot is really good at the moment. Super easy with skill builds too!
