Great series was still young when it's reruns aired on ZTV. Thanks for the Post. I have watched all 65 episodes so far, wonderful acting and story lines.

I shall miss Robert, but I could have saved him with the Heimlich Manoeuvre which I learnt on a first aid course. Perhaps the actor Brian Rawlins wanted to leave, as he did earlier in the series when a replacement stepped in. Perhaps the writers wanted to focus on Samuel, the reluctant shopkeeper. We'll never know.

It should be remembered that at that time they did not know what first aid was, and medicine was not as advanced as it is today

What primitive diving suits were back then. Heavy and cumbersome. How can you dive with such a thing?

I never realised Roy Evans was a deep sea diver before he landed in Walford.......
