The ONE THING You NEED To Know - My Airport Experience in Lebanon

Ойын-сауық

Here is my airport story when I landed in Beirut, Lebanon in order to partake in the charity project with the World Care Foundation. I learned something very important about entering Lebanon as an Arab: ALWAYS BRING ARAB ID. If you have one of course. Let's break this down.

This sad but true.the worst experience in airport in my life was in Lebanon when me try to back to Perú and they told me u can't not because u need visa to transit in Europe . I was 2 hours explain first I no need visa and second how if me need visa I come to lebanon from Europe 🧐🧐🧐 just when me so angry and said show me where said I need visa they look and said that me was right . I was pregnant 7 months and 2 hours waiting for people that really don't know the real rules and is so easy said u can't travel bye other ticket like nothing.

what im saying is when you enter lebanon and your Lebanese and dual national, if you enter Lebanon via Haweya or Lebanese Passport and you are a Lebanese national, you lose your rights as a dual national from the country you gained Citizenship, ie in my case Lebanese. losing that right is exactly why they want you to provide your ID as opposed to accepting your dual national passport.

This is disgusting representation of The Lebanese Embassy failing to inform you of this crucial factor, with Lebanon's Rafik Hariri Airport denying you access via your Canadian Passport; yet this is to force you to lose your Rights as a Canadian Citizen. If you were involved in a hijack, kidnap, abduction or even mass foreigners' evacuation of Lebanon, like my family was when in Lebanon and were segmented in who has British Citizenship did not have first access to evacuate Lebanon but those Actually Born in UK were given priority. This is against International Protocol and Embassies are in Breech of Failing International Protocols.

There is definately a lot that needs to be addressed and fixed. It’s crazy that this can happen at an airport and there is nothing u can do about it

Just to let you know I am Australian I have a Lebanese background and I have never been asked those questions at all, I always enter on my Australian passport, maybe the circumstance was different as the identity name matched a wanted person. But I have never had any troubles at all getting in or asked questions
