Steph had to learn the NBA Game coming from college before he was able to BECOME Steph. Yall fools want her to be gave MVP and change the entire game for her... Coach Sides' offense is one of the worst I've ever seen. No one is ever open. They are always fighting to beat the shot clock. No fluid movement without the ball, and her players are all forced to play one-on-one. Sheesh.....

Yeah this coach also would have asked babe Ruth to hit singles instead of home runs. While she has a right to ask this of her player it's absolutely insane to do value the greatest of CC3 and what brings millions and millions of viewers as The Rock would say to wnba games now. If she does not keep hitting the logo threes and the 25 foot triples I ain't watching anymore. That was a horror show on the opener at Connecticut it's like everybody wants to see Clark fail it's just incredible they gave her the best defensive team in the league to play against Her first game after a Nothing preseason of a couple weeks. Not impressed with this coach. Losing with and without Caitlin. Saw the opening game this week. I sense a problem with this coach. She doesn't know how to optimize on her talent

Sides is too busy "Correcting her Faults" to see anything else

I came to watch her shoot those deep 3’s and to see her quick response assists. What is this I am actually watching from a WNBA team? They are not together at all and they are not supporting or taking advantage of their talent. Team does nothing in the way of setting picks for CC to have a chance to break free for a shot. Opposing teams on the rookie with full court pressure and doubling up. Team sucks at rebounding a ball, and when CC puts it into the paint, they aren’t ready or quick enough for it. Not sure what their plan is, but they are really missing the mark. They may not be happy about it, but they need to circle around the reason why most all of us have come to watch a game for the first time.

Well, she should get to play. Sitting Caitlin out for the entire first half does nothing to help her. This Christy Sides is awful coach. She should try to build her team around Caitlin. She is a fast player and a 3 point shooter.

But teammates need to help and go to the ball, not stand on the other side of the court! Little difficult to pass cross court when double teamed! And not easy to shoot double teamed either! Coach is an idiot!

But this coach is not building plays around Clark. This coach doesn't have a must win all mindset. She and her players doesn't seem bothered by the losses. Its what u want to move on but coach please give ur players some confidence to shoot. I saw them trying to get to the bucket rather than trying to shoot. When u have tough defensive u need to draw fouls and shoot. U can't pass the ball too much. U should have created clutch plays for Clark. She is good at shooting in transition far frm the 3pt line rather than close. Also don't ask her to shoot 2's. Have some one who is comfortable to take those shots. Celeste Taylor should have been on the court. U should've given her a few mins. She can shoot good 2's & 3's. Also Taylor can get Clark's passes without giving away the ball. Boston is slow. Bulldozing her way under the rim to shoot is not gonna work. Boston needs conditioning.

Sides has to go if they want to become what they should, she is holding the team back. The girl can not coach.

I love CC, but this is her second game. She is going to need time to adjust to the WNBA. Until she gets stronger and add a little more weight, it’s going to be difficult for her to fight through screens to get her own shot. That is why she has to work in a system. It may take her a few games, or next year. She along with all of her fans must be patient. Also if you notice everyone she is playing against is much bigger than her. These are grown women she is playing against, she will get there!

Of course, she's going to have to make quicker decisions offensively, and she will. But they will need her shot and resort to her shot when needed, for balls passing through the net mean points.

Christie Sides has only been an assistant coach for 20 years is a failed league. She has no clue what she has with Caitlin, and she does not have the acumen (experience) to build a successful team around Caitlin. Numerous pro player legends ( who have been coached by the best basketball coaches in the world) like Steph Curry, Shaquille O’Neal, Isaiah Thomas, Magic Johnson, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Luka Dončić, and Trae Young all have said the Caitlin Clark is one of the best players to have ever played the game. Christie Sides ( 🤡😂 Coach😂🤡) last week said that Caitlin has a bad habit of hanging around and just dancing and not taking the correct shot. Some one needs to tell assistant coach Sides that Caitlin had broken every shooting record in NCAA history and that Caitlin had 1,140 assists in the NCCA. I’m not sure sure what planet Sides has come from, but I’m pretty sure she never watched Caitlin play in college. I’m also pretty sure that Sides is a low rate coach and is out of her league when it comes to being able to take advantage of Caitlin’s attributes. Caitlin is the only player in NCAA history(including men) to have scored a 40 point triple double in an NCAA. No other players including Larry Bird, Michael Jordon, or Shaq has done it (40 points). Sides needs to go, and the Fever needs to hire a real proven coach. Hire Lisa Bluder

She needs time. She was never WNBA ready from game 1. Sorry that reality stings most. These are professional athletes. They know how to play the game professionally and the discipline needed. They are women not young girls. Caitlyn has not had a chance to learn the professional level yet. But she will if you all will give her a chance to fail first then become the star that she will be.

Caitlin is catching enough flak, without having her coach pile on. Sides seems to have pessimistic attitude when she's talks about Caitlin's mistakes. So far I haven't heard her say anything that expresses her faith in Caitlin.

Coach is right. If the 3 is not open after the screen because the defense has extended, immediately pass or go for the hoop and finish with short jumper or all the way to the hoop, get fouled and get to the line. Do not give the defense any time to recover. Be decisive. Get tough like DT.

If you thinking your going to win games and build team chemistry with her playing style your crazy. She's got to learn with the flow of the game. If you hold the ball the whole 24 seconds your teammates will have no flow to the game. She can't score every bucket so her statement makes sense. She wants her to make quick decisions. That's not a bad thing and choose better shots. Simple. Remember what Jordan's first Pro coach said......."The strategy is to Get the ball to Michael, and everybody else Get TF Out of the way". That seemed to work out pretty well, no. Caitlin isn't MJ, but she's her own level of Great, and deserves a Coach who realizes that and Nurtures it, rather than Trying To "FIX" it. Sides had an Awful record last year, and is On Pace to break that Losing Record, this year, if the first two Fuster Cluck games are any Indication at all
