I just hit 13 months carnivore and it has changed my life! i started at north of 715lbs i was stuck in the house for over 2 years and i was on home oxygen 24/7. i had congestive heart failure, reactive airway disease, depression, anxiety, lymphedema, and many other issues. ive lost 262lbs so far, i have my mobility back, im off oxygen, and off all meds, my depression and anxiety is completely gone. everything has healed and is either 95% to 100% healed! A literal answer to prayer ! i love hearing people changing their lives with carnivore too. Keep up the great work!

I wish he would have asked you about CIRS. I get such a resistance from other carnivores who so obviously have CIRS and they either don't want to believe it and take the VCS test, or they failed the VCS test and are dismissive of CIRS and just keep chasing after all their symptoms as if they were all a separate issue. They don't seem to want to go down the road for treating it and defeating it. And yet I know that no matter how much you improve on just clean eating and trying to heal the gut, you can have an exposure and all your symptoms can come back in a big crash. Until that gene is remodulated and exposure mitigated and managed, the cycle of clean to crash to recover is lifelong and endless. I've had that cycle happen at least 4 times in the past 40 years and each time it takes longer to recover. I am praying that I can finally recover and remodulate the gene so that I won't crash again.

yeah, it's a hard line. I get it. I've learned that you have to let people find their journey. If we force people to look at Carnivore or CIRS, they will fight it (because they don't know your intention or they aren't ready to accept it as necessary). Whatever the case is, if I can provide content and support until they are led the way that may help to find even more root-cause, our practice will be here to support them. I agree; many people on Carnivore who are not fully getting better likely have CIRS (especially if they're honest with the diet). But it takes time for people to be open and willing. It's abject misery or divine inspiration that forces people to change... For now, you can plant the seed and share your story. ♥

@@YeshuaKingMessiah You need VIP. Your body makes it naturally, but it would take years to make enough to turn off the gene, so you take it exogenously, but your blood markers need to be normalized first.

And speaking of 5 signs, let me offer a sixth the Spirit thing along with gratitude also a kind of unitedness with mankind, nature the environment. For example in gratitude for finding your way you feel responsible about sharing your joy with others even if you might come off a bit preachy :)

Hi Judy. Thank you for your openness about your journey from a plant based diet to a carnivore diet. I have a question on how you were able to overcome the ethical barrier from not wanting to harm animals to then eating a meat only diet. I have a friend who chose to be vegan for ethical reasons and we are now both exploring alternative ways of eating, especially a ketogenic diet. In her case, she is curious about a vegan keto diet. In my case, I am learning about the carnivore diet as I have never had a problem with eating meat. Just curious how you were able to make that switch from plant based to carnivore without it affecting you psychologically. And great content by the way. I have been watching your interview with Dr. Seyfried the other day. Keep up the great work.

In case Judy doesn't see your post and answer -- If you do the research on soil regeneration, animal fertilizers and the depletion of soil without them, the ACTUAL death told of birds, small mammals and insects from grain farming, monocropping, insecticides and artificial fertilizers, you will gain a psychology based on truth (you are an animal in a giant web of life) rather than wishful thinking ( wanting to live on a moral high ground that actually doesn't exist, however fine your motives and intentions).

My husband and I are not strict on cutting out all the seasonings and have had great results over the past 18 months. We love Asian and Mexican food, so have versions of our favorites. We eat a lot of fish too. Bacon fat and butter/ghee give lots of flavor. I don't think I could sustain a diet of just plain meat and salt.

Oh yeah, one more question. On your strict carnivore for 3 years, did that also mean no coffee? I ask because after 60 days Carnivore still don't think I'm quite there with gut. Certainly have lost lots of weight even on whole foods diet just meat and fresh veggies then keto when that stalled got me another 20 pounds and walking and enjoying the walking. Then Carnivore for arthritis and gut, had me at first trying pushups and squats... but being middle of winter I'd rather hibernate not much sun in Cleveland area. Anyway coffee is next on chopping block I think for me. Even though I really like what the stuff does for me. Tough decision I liked sugar too : - ) )

That was so hard for me. Kevin (my husband) and I set boundaries. He didn't 'have some of my trigger foods in the home for awhile, or he had them hidden in areas I couldn't find them. You can ask if there is a way they can help you with that happy medium. I also made sure to eat sufficiently that even though I craved sugar, my body was full. And battling the mind without battling the body's hunger is a little easier. Lastly, swapping the desire for sugar with other habits was critical for me too. ♥

I think the question of “should everyone be strict carnivore?” can be misleading depending on the context. It first needs to be clear what the person is asking. Are they asking is it optimal physiologically for everyone? Yes. If they are asking can people be bit more lenient and still feel physically good. Yes but not as good as strict.
