This just smells amazing to me, like amazing, i never met someone who dislikes this one at all, to me it lasts at least 6 to 7 just like you said which is fine for me, i bought 2 bottles of it, the 5.0 oz! To me the top 3 best releases for edp concentration recently have been, d&g the one, acqua di gio profumo, and armani code profumo, performance improved on all of them

really good review! fully agree with everything you said and amazing fragrance. i think layering is the ultimate if you have both...3-4 squirts of the EDP leave to dry and finish with a couple of EDT on top. the EDT does smell a little nicer to my nose, but doesn't stick around for so long.

And this is another fragance I got because of this amazing review. I'm using it for this night out! Let you know how it goes. Thanks Steven!

Bought this version yesterday after smelling it at my local boutique...Wow, amazing scent! The performance is good and the price is great. F... it smells good.

You know what preformace may not be astounding. But I go crazzzzy with the sprays. Up to 8-12 sprays with the 5oz bottle I have and it last 8 to 9 hrs sometimes 10 on a great day when I spray on skin and clothes....... And ppl still smell me later on.... It's a wonderful scent and ppl compliment me.left and right.... Especially the Ladies 😎

Love your reviews, bud! For the community, do any of you know of a fragrance that smells similar but has a better longevity? I love The One but I would love to know if you’ve found anything that lasts longer.

Great review.....Just got the EDP and this review hit the nail on the head...smells awesome....a bit better than the EDT....but not by much...I got 1 to 2 hrs beast projection from this and then closer to the skin after 6 to 7 total hrs.....

I get the same performance as you. BEASTLY projection for at least 1 hour on me. Then closer to the skin. I'm in love with the drydown of this stuff.

Love the EDP! Definitely a compliment getter w/o question! Projects well in the first 2-3 hours for me, then becomes a closer quieter skin scent. I had a intimate date and let's say she couldn't keep her hands to herself she said I smelled so good. 😏 The opening to the dry down is amazing imo. Will always be an easy grab for me. Something about this fragrance gives me a well put together vibe & I absolutely love it. I stay smelling myself bc this is a top notch scent. Highly recommended to add this to the rotation of scents to have.

I started expanding my fragrances during the pandemic after many years with only 3. Ordered probably $150 in 3 ml samples but this wasn’t one I ordered. I believe since I ordered so many, the supplier threw in about 4 extra with The One edp being one of them. I waited for the recent cooler weather and tried it on a piece of paper first. I Didn’t care for it at all however , my wife really liked it. Tried on my skin and there was a completely different vibe from spray through dry down. Will definitely buy a larger bottle. For the price I can get it through discounters, I won’t worry about performance, just spray it on again. I know Intense is being hyped a lot but, I’ll stick with what I know suits me well.

I understand how performance could be a factor for some people. But there's always a solution: reapplication. The down side to this, for some, is that you can potentially burn through your fragrance twice as fast. But for me, that's not an issue for a scent that's such an all star. A 1.7 oz bottle, sprayed twice per application, daily, is still going to last you a very long time. Especially because this isn't a spring/summer fragrance (imo). My first 1.7 bottle lasted me two years. Tl;dr: don't let the performance woes of many discourage you from buying this one. It's so good, you can buy it blind.

I love that the bottle says for Men, let’s keep it that way... it’s a 10/10 for sure 5 hours solid, then respray, start the experience over. Like starting Depeche Mode’s enjoy the silence from the beginning, always nice.

The EDT use to give me a headache...I liked how it smelt though but I hardly wore it b/c of that factor.I tried this one out for two weeks and zero headaches. I will be buying this one. I like it a lot.

The performance is a little better than the EDT, so I would do 6 sprays or so.

I expected more in terms of performance, it's actually pretty similar to the EDT, but it doesn't matter, I'm in love with this scent, it's intoxicating, I love what they did with the bottle design as well.

They're both 80% alcohol, it's on the box. I got the EDP version and I came here to check out that percentage on the EDT from an old video. How can this be called EDP when the amount of juice is exactly the same as the EDT? am I tripping?

I just got my first bottle today and the smell is intoxicating. It brings me back to my childhood when I woke up to the smell of campfires in the woods and I absolutely love it. Though, I don't mind the performance. As it speaks to my personality (woohoo introverts), I'd much rather not have something loud and much rather become discovered.

Great job as always... I bought the EdP and I have been very happy with it while I never picked up the EdT due to performance issues... I get a good 2-3 hours of additional performance out of the EdP when compared to the EdT... I normally get 7-8hrs on my skin which is totally fine with me...

I can smell this on my skin after 12 hours but it's literally a skin scent by the 5-6 hour mark. Overall projection is good for the first 2-3 hours. Definitely an improvement over the original IMO

This cologne has gotten me the most compliments here in Jamaica … have used several of the other so called top rated ones including Dior sauvage and never got compliments . Don’t know if it’s because I’m in the tropics but when I wear this one even strangers comment .. have gone through three bottles ( edp)… Nam Jamaica

Hey steven, What can I do to improve the longevity of the fragrance? I really like the scent. I usually go about 20 sprays for 2 hours of projection. Should I use Iso e super as well?

I think this is exactly right. This fragrance isn't a "projector". It's for intimate distances. Took me bit to figure that out.

To me EDP smells too thick and dense because I like lighter fragrances in general. I like the EDT more because it just smells fresher. Performance is a little better on the EDP but the bottom line is: if you want this fragrance, go for the EDT for lighter experience or get the EDP for more richer experience. Both versions are great and I see them having a different kind of uses.

I also like this one a LOT! I will review it on my chanel also along side Dior Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel in a video "Kings of popularity"

I tested The One EDP at Macy's the other day, and was conflicted with this one. Although longevity was better on my skin, projection was just as bad as the EDT. I was hoping they would make the EDP strong enough for the very cold winters.

I personally don't own Royal Night, but from what I remember, it is a spicier and woodsier version of the original with slightly better performance.

I really do like the smell and it is a unique scent in my cologne collection and I don't have a big one so yes but I'm debating on buying another bottle I have I believe a 5 oz I believe it is but I don't think it projects as well as other people are saying it does and it has a decent amount of lasting I usually get a good maybe 4 hours 5 hours before it starts fading out more and being more of a skin and light scent so it's kind of a I don't know if I would buy this again I have to actually use this entire bottle and decide

Great review! I have a sample of this coming in today. I really want to get Replica Jazz Club but this one is less expensive so I wanted to compare before I pull the trigger. Also, I see you have a lot of Bond no 9's behind you. My favorite fragrance is their Andy Warhol (face). Do you know of anything similar? I've tried Tom Ford's Plum Japonais but it's a little off. Smells kind of like plums if you toss them in a fire pit. Thanks!

This scent reminds me of Jazz Club my maison martin margiela..have you tried that scent and what do you think?

Olivier Polge and Francois Demachy are my favorite perfumer.

got this 1 finally. ibgotb2:say it smells good 8/10 for me which is really good but I can see why they call it the one.. because only lasts 1 hour! 2 if it's hot 3 if u go to a sauna. thus will be my gym and sauna colgne!!

The EDT is one of my absolute FAVORITE fragrances on men. Regardless of how short of a time increase the EDP adds on you guys, please keep wearing it. :)

Love this juice! I think since the performance increased from below average to average, the 10/10 is justified.

So here s my take on it ! It’s sweet , bold and warm to me I definitely get mixed amber and coriander , ginger and cardamom and a lil tobacco in the dry down! Longevity and projection is moderate! It’s very masculine! Just tried it and pretty sure it will get compliments ! I didn’t like opening but the dry down is good I’ll go couple or three sprays on my shirt , couple on my neck and couple on my wrists! It was a blind buy as I have a lot of perfumes on my collection I don’t regret it! I have access to wholesale it cost me 45.50 for 3.4 oz edp! So if I don’t like it I have the option of selling it on eBay for the same price! So it’s a win win situation! I think this one is gonna be a crowd pleaser and i decided to keep it and Carry atomizer with me ! Some perfume takes time to get used to it! Looking to discover more Steven let’s do it!

Everybody love this scent so much and acts like it's so original.. Vera Wang by Vera Wang smells almost identical to me.. just a bit lighter.. it came out before the one... my dad used to wear it.. it also has better performance and projection than the one..

Does the projection last longer ? And is the performance really better ? I'm thinking about buying it tomorrow. Anybody ?
