i tried it in macy’s and bought it because i couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. it’s a great frag for cuddling

I can say after a very long time of checking reviews that this is the best channel, others feel like they trying hard to sell me a product but also the reviews aren’t all memes or boring

I bought it 2 weeks ago and I’m actually enjoying this fragrance quite a bit!!! At first I thought it was a little too sweet but it has definitely grown on me. Great going out fragrance over all. Definitely recommend this 💪

Great review bro - I had been wondering about this myself, and now I can use that brain real-estate for something more important.

I'd say the intense version has more depth to the scent. It's richer, sweeter, and my bottle has an earthy quality in the mix. If you are a fan of the series, then it would be worth adding to the collection because it is a new take on the tried and true formula.

I'm a little late to the party, I only owned "The One grey" which I only picked up because I found it for $19.99 at Marshall's. It is pleasant, but nothing special to me. I just got my hands on The One Intense and I fell in love with it. This is what The One Grey should have been, the Intense is like the mature big brother of The One Grey. This should've been called The one Grey Night. The one Grey should've been the perfect name for this release. It's not too fresh, bright, citrus (White) nor it is too dark (leather, resinous, smokey). This is truly The One Grey, because Grey is the color I see, and feel when I smell this fragrance. I love it, although I wouldn't pay more than $50 for 100 ml .

I bought it. Its a scent of its own. Smells great,slight killian factor. Well worth it!!

I just received my bottle in the mail. Upon first smell, my brain goes to a fancy hotel. It smells exactly like a stay in a fancy hotel. It’s crazy

How did you get into focusing on colognes and fragrances?

I bought this edp by mistake but I'm glad I did it because I love it. It's like catnip for me. I bought some edp from online store and I got a sample of D & G edp the one gold so instead of buying the gold version I bought the edp intense. I would say for its prize range it is above average. I'd like to know when you say it's under average/average, in what comparison you're saying that?

Just tested this one today and his review of the scent and personal preference is spot on! I’m not a big fan of this fragrance, but it’s not offensive either. Kind of starting to grow on me in the dry down, but can’t see wearing this one often enough to buy a bottle. Well done review!

I want to try this but our Macy’s doesn’t have a sampler and they won’t open one you have to just buy it. Then they wonder why people go online instead of buying in person. If they had a tester and I liked it, hmmmm I would buy it on the spot. I wonder if that would lead to more sales 🤔

I just picked up the one EDP and I’m about to return it and get my money back and get something that has 2/3 times the longevity

Intenso is one of my all time favorites it sometimes kinda smells like cherry 🍒

great review! this one will be a bit of a sleeper i feel. performance not great, nothing like the standard EDT/EDP, smell hard to break down and no obvious suitability for when to wear it. Herault's blending is fantastic again and i like it more as a casual scent. sweet, fruity, a bit green/floral and just overall very pleasant.

3 year old post, but nobody answered, so I will... I do wear this to the office because it does not project much, especially in the dry down. My boss has a sensitive nose, and I don't want to gas her out. She's cool with this one.

I heard one of those chemical cause cancer. Can you do a video on caution when using certain fragrances because of this?

Yep.. I can confirm already at discounters. i bought mine for $67 at a Canadian discounter just last week. Haven't had chance to open it yet, as I bought several other fragrances at the same time and I like to take my time with each fragrance.

The One was my 1st love in fragrance. Nothing else came close. Until I really got out there and experienced more, but it'll always be special. Thanks for the review, i'll check this one out but I don't have high hopes. In my opinion, I, for one, me personally, on my skin, I love the og The One. hah, Ash, Enough with the "For me, personally.." we know it's you. You can't state anyone else's opinion, so by default it's yours and doesn't need to be double identified. It can't be "For me, Steven.." so it's redundant. Love the content, keep it up brother. I look forward to your stuff daily.

Like ADG Profundo, it’s a flanker that I’m highly fine with it being different

Ash, list perfumes you would prefer in hot regions like India.

I personally didn't care for it. I don't think it's a bad fragrance. Crowd pleasing for sure (and I do love a lot of crowd pleasers, I don't wanna come off as a snob). To me it reminded me a little bit like One Million Lucky, but I didn't care for that one either. I still prefer the EDT over any of "The One" flanker's.

@@amr_580 they are very similar Royal Night maybe a lil more richer and last longer than the EDP. Mysterious night smells the best in my opinion very well done.

I found this to be very nice scent in the first 45mins to an hour...then, its gone. And i mean gone. I personally cant smell it hardly at all after an hour..lol. i have to carry an automizer and keep re-applying. Man, i wish it lasted longer, cause i really like it. Oh well..🤷‍♂️

The greatest disappointment of D&G is their fragrance performance. I wouldn't mind paying more for The One or even reapplying it throughout the day if only i could actually smell it on me for more than an hour without smelling my wrist.

I'd agree with these guys. It's not a bad fragrance. But I personally don't care for it. I enjoy sweet fragrances, and I also enjoy crowd pleasers, but this one wasn't for me

This fragrance is not beast mode but it's not designed to be. Once you get your head around that fact most people will probably love it. The entire One line is subtle, that's how they were designed. I'm sure they could have made it beast mode but had they done that it wouldn't be "The One" Not everyone wants beast mode lasting 12 hours. If you are going out for the evening then 6 hours worth of performance should be enough. If you need longer then take a decant out with you...

Every time I smell this, I get 1 million Lucky vibes. I don't know if I'm tripping out. I don't get much spice or leather, but rather just sweetness and it's a bit too much. I don't like it :( I wanted to like it. I wish it was spicy/leathery.

@@dant8162 well, I will say, I tried it on skin yesterday and I get a lot more of the spice and leather. On paper, it smells like Lucky, but only a bit more cloying. Better than Lucky? Not sure. I will give it another full wearing today then report back.
