I don't get why people trashtalk Jimmy Wang Yu's onscreen fighting. There's a lot of speed and power in this movie, and almost none of it is undercranked (sped up). He wasn't really a "martial artist" but his style of brawling worked onscreen.

WIth most martial arts movie fans, if it isn't THEIR favorite star, they will critique every last minute aspect of it, like a jerk. TO me, this movie was the best NON Bruce Lee kung fu flick ever. Jimmy Wang Yu was a hell of an actor and his fights were always interesting.

I was wondering why That One Armed fighter sounded so clean. His voice actor is also the voice of The Legendary 3 Eyed Z fighter Tienshinhan. I have very good hearing. Listen carefully and you’ll see what I mean. The fighting choreography is gritty & somewhat sloppy. But this storyline is everything. The fighting improves with each battle. Pure Epicness. Considering the age of this movie..this holds up fairly well. One armed boxer wasa bad motherf%$#@ * back in the day. Nice to see the classics...I spent many a Saturday watching these action flicks. Thanks for the memories.
