Yoga Nidra can help with stress and sleeping - but nutrition has big role in sleep as well, if your blood sugar or something is spiking while your asleep and makes you wake up. You can try having a golden milk before sleeping.

They call it the Jesus year, because 33 is the age at which Christ was crucified...

In the 70’s we did your regular stuff like weed and alcohol but add to that LSD, mescaline, speed, cocaine and so on. The 70’s were awesome!

That was very sweet of you Jess to take him to the pharmacy. I was my grandpa's caretaker after my grandma passed and he had really bad dementia, and when he was in a physical rehab and hospital it was so heart breaking to see the elderly people with no visitors and I made friends with his roommate and even though he passed away I still talk to her and have her in my life because her family doesn't visit and the elderly get so lonely there. I had no idea how many elderly people are without caretakers or family in their lives so that story you shared really hit home because I would have wanted someone to show that kindness to my grandpa if I weren't around.

If your a spiritual person your always learning, seeking, and hopefully growing each year as the numbers go up with age. Lol LaLa watched you from ur beginning on VPR and girl I have seen your growth tremendously. You are doing the damn thing with style. Jessica my first impressions with you, that you are so down to earth at least what I’ve seen and heard from these podcasts. You have a wonderful attitude. you can’t help but love you too. All I can say for being in your 30s Enjoy the ride it’s only as good as you make it. It’s only a number and you never feel the age you are. I’m 53 but feel 30. The phenomenon is something I learned about in philosophy class...it's called crowd mentality. If nobody else is doing anything, then why should I have to? Just like if one person walks past a drowning person in a lake, they will more than likely feel obligated to jump in to save the person. However if ten people are seeing the drowning person, they will most likely think "someone else will do it".... crazy. So glad I'm not a follower haha...I rarely ever think about what other people are doing, I just jump. In my experience, the sheep people or sheeple, are never right. Way to be a leader Lala! 🥰

I have been in a season of retreating for a few years now and honestly I am grateful for it. I am happier away from the stuff that will mess with me mentally and cause undo stress and anxiety. If it isn't adding goodness and positivity to my life then deuces.

Did you all notice Erin had a fit about Vrynn saying that at the party, but then pucks her kid up sets him on her lap and discusses "My children were there" well now the child id on your lap in his coat. Obviously just passed off from the nanny for the scene.

H & his lawyer lied and said my 3 kids & I had more time to move out then moved it up. Sheriffs came & gave me 5 minutes to get out. The arse was videoing me the whole time. WTF? I’ve been with my man 29 years. Four girls that are grown. We aren’t married but it’s funny because I know people who have gotten married and feel superior to us because they are married. But because I still say “boyfriend” they are better than me. But when they divorce, and my man and I are still going, makes me giggle.

Omg yes ! People judge so much because you’re not married. My bf and I have been together for awhile and I say BF and they judge. But just because you’re married, doesn’t mean it’s perfect! No one is less than or more than the next person!

YESSSSSS - I love my partner dearly, we're 10y strong with 3 babies but have never got married because we just cba with the fuss - even the bare minimum of 2 witnesses, basic vows and paperwork is too high maintenance for us 😂

Think, in the 70s there was no fentanyl, molly, all the new drugs out there. A lot more to choose from.

Jessica seems like a sweet girl and a good friend to Lala but not a good choice as a co-host/sidekick. I feel like she doesnt add any depth, she's more like a puppy dog. Pretty much just telling Lala how great she is, agreeing with everything she says, reiterating her points and for lack of better words, kisses her ass.

At 33 I was a first time mom of a 6 month old and my husband left me for another woman 😅so I dunno maybe 33 was not my year.
