The Old Liners

The Old Liners is the first of another new series from Joe Clark Films. It shows no less than fifty four ships, mostly ocean liners from 1920’s to the 1970’s . Some of the film is in black and white and the more recent film is coloured.
There are some superb converted 16 mm shots taken of ships such as the “Asturias”, Bremen and Augustus.
Some of the shots are very short but included for their rarity or quality, but you also join some of the ships on their voyages. You will see some wonderful film of ships in Rio de Janeiro and anchored off Funchal plus some really fascinating film of street scenes in Funchal.
