Meet an amazingly good sounding 2015 970.2 Porsche Panamera GTS and its 4.8 litre naturally aspirated V8 coupled to an extremely loud sports exhaust and 7-speed PDK transmission. The sound this Porsche produces is just incredible! The car makes a reasonable 440 PS and 520 Nm of torque which gives it the right amount of power to have fun on a country road. But obviously this car is about the sound - oh the incredibly loud sound - they don’t make them like this anymore! Big thanks to Porsche Zentrum Mannheim for the quick test drive!

The 970 panamera gts is such an underrated sports sedan. In period the TT German rivals had the horsepower headlines but this drives way better. Soundtrack that can’t be duplicated by turbos and speaker noise.
This car is so special because it has the most powerful n/a V8 they ever put in the Panamera. All the engines after and or the Turbo & Turbo S variants from this gen were muted by their turbos.

That’s the factory exhaust
I have the 4S with the sports exhaust. It gives you 90% of the GTS sound - just missing the pops on downshift unfortunately. If I had to order it again, I would have gone with the GTS. It also retains it's value a lot better!

hi guys, i’ve got a 970.2 gts recently, how do i make the pops? Also is there any way of stopping the jerking motion when you floor it from standstill?

@@aman.asg89 Try and shortshift a bit. Should work just fine. With Porsches, the sound is often much greater in the outside as well. With regards to the jerkines I would say get it checked asap. It might be gears slipping which is equal to a new PDK gearbox- or at least part of it!

@@aman.asg89if you still have the car, sport is the best mode for pops. Sport+ doesn’t have quite as much.

Meine Auto (Porsche panamera GTS 4,8l T970, Stock Auspuf, alles original und sogar mit approved Garantie) wurde gestern sichergestellt... GRUND: ZU LAUT. Ich verstehe es nicht mehr ehrlich... So lächerlich

Jup im Auto merkt man es kaum - außen aber abartig laut. Hatte letztes Mal einen beim Track Day gesehen. War lauter als der GT3 RS der vor ihm fuhr 🤣

@@911scales Laut aber Legal.. Naja.. War zu laut für den Officer.. Vielleicht hat er einen schlechten Tag gehabt und wollte mein Auto sicherstellen um sich besser zu fühlen ;S
