I had no idea that Angie Stone I wish I didn't miss you was actually the intro from this song. And I heard this song by accident while watching the trailer for Looking for Mr Goodbar.
This was so true back then and still holds today: beware of backstabbers.

This song is so true. This song always reminds to be careful who I trust and be friends with because not everyone who smiles at me is not my friend

If they never sung a word, this song would still be great😁 such great music.
I put it on repeat every time it comes on
My parents loved this song when it came out, now I love it too.
Such a relevent song no matter how old it gets.
Excellent. Pholadelphia soul at its best!

Pur chef d'oeuvre !!!!!!!!! Unbelievable soul groovy !!!!!
The 70s and 80s were magical music eras. Some of the best singers and musicians existed in that time zone. The level of creativity and collaborations were in a time capsule of magical spiritual ecstasy that infiltrates the mind body and soul. Some have attempted to imitate it but it has never been fully replicated it's time capsule remains the keeper of the magic.

The one friend is God who lives within you. In word meaning you... There is no one to the end. That's a myth. It's a choice. You were made for you. No disrespect to lovers but trust a man who gave it all to multiple hearts. When it's you or them. They choose themselves
