Back in 1999 my husband and I were homeless and lived in a car and this song came on the radio and we were singing. My husband made a promise that we would have a house one day and with the grace of God and a lot of hard work from both of us we have a beautiful home two car’s money in the bank thank my lord and savior.

When music had meaning. Very fortunate to have grown up in this Era
in 1979 i just passed the six grade. i was only 12 years old. i was bad off and thought i wasn't going to be successful in the 7 grade and beyond. i thought of failure. while i laid on my bed in may i began to be depressed. the radio was on v103 and soon after i spoke to myself this song played. i rose up out of my depression and the song spoke to me. Really it was the Spirit of God giving confidence in my young age that i was not going to fail ever as long as He got something to do with it. to this day i have not failed to continue to move on. i have a very strong Christian life to this day!

@@tonydenor Today has been one of those days and I'm glad M & W blessed us with this tune. It feels like they know how I'm feeling and what I need right now, in this moment. I'm so grateful to them.
I am sitting here, in July waiting for July 22 of 2023. I had a lot of hopes in a lot of dreams, but on my way to the hospital I knew I was having a little girl she was born on 22 July. I was happy that God has blessed me with a child because I was told I could not have any, so when someone tell you that something is not going to be possible to happen as long as you believe in Jesus, he is the deliverer, but one thing about the deliverer as we were leaving this song was playing the granite. This song was playing when I was on my way in Chicago to give birth to my daughter and on the way leaving, this same song do you play in the car as me and my husband was driving off not here. I am sleep relaxing and this song again it’s presented to me like it had done throughout the years and I say this because I am unstoppable as long as I have Jesus I am unstoppable and I’m thankful and I’m humble although my daughter was killed in the army, my only daughter who I miss so very much, I will be saying happy birthday to her on July 22 with some balloons ride in the clouds God bless the reader Jesus is good to me. I appreciate the time he did allow me with my beautiful soul of a daughter.

I graduated out of 8th grade. We made buttons saying ain't no stopping now.❤❤😂😂
Being born in the 70’s, I heard this song A LOT throughout my childhood. Now, that I’m 47 & God has gotten me through many difficult challenges….this song hits differently. The lyrics are so inspirational! Back in the day, the song made me dance. Today, it makes me dance AND reflect. God is good….🎶🎶 *ain’t no stopping us now* 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

@@melindascott9229 On May 11, 2004, Whitehead was murdered on the street outside of his Philadelphia home studio, while standing aside as a young man made repairs on his SUV. There, he was shot once by one of several unknown gunmen, who then fled.[6][7] The case remains unsolved. Whitehead was 55 years old. On January 27, 2006, McFadden died of liver and lung cancer.[8] He was 56.

The Black national anthem I call this song
This is our OUR NEW THEME SONG
Today was the solar eclipse April 8 2024. I live too far away to see it this time, but I saw it in 2017 in the path of totality and it was one of the highlights of my life. After the eclipse today, I was in the store and this song came on. There was such an abundant positive mood in the store. I played it in car after I left and for me, it’s the anthem of this eclipse. I absolutely love this song, always have! It’s so positive and powerful!
My goodness those arrangements, the musicianship.. bass, guitars....everything.....The 70's simply was the best decade for music.
I grew up on this song and still listen to it right today.

6:28 When I was in the Army, I drove to New York City with two of my Army Buddies, one from Dallas and the other from Houston. They had never been to NYC! We we're on the New Jersey turnpike and I tune in to WBLS and this was the first time we had heard this song! We lost our minds with excitement as we saw the City lit up in lights. The first place we went to was Bentleys!!! When the DJ played this song the crowd went wild! We danced all night and got free drinks because we had our khaki uniforms on. I was so proud to be a New Yorker, showing my friends how we partied! Salute to James Battle and Joe Morris! What a Great Time!
