Well, thank you. But seriously just keep plugging away, you’ll get it. I’m entirely self taught, and I decided very early to develop that skill. Strumming and singing is much easier to do and to cover up any mistakes while playing. 15 years of off and on guitar playing and 1 year of singing lessons, and I can FINALLY sing while picking. Some things come easy, some things take years of work; if it’s something you’re interested in then keep trying

It really is all practice. Especially when it’s a song you’re just learning. What I like to do is learn the guitar part and vocals separately, then combine them. I usually learn vocals first, since I’ve been singing for longer and it comes more naturally to me, but that’s just how I am.

This has been one of my favorite songs since 6th grade. Like 20 years ago. This is the first cover of it I've heard that I really connected with.
That was AWESOME!! That's the same way I've taught my Daughter's to cover these songs. Acoustic guitars seems to be a dying Art. Thankyou

Amazing! You are incredible. I get goosebumps. One of my favourite songs ever.
I loved your version... Thanks, that was fresh air to one of my favorite songs in life.
Wow, really liked your playing n singing very much. I grew up in Riyadh listening to Offspring. Bought this album on casette I reckon.. Makes you think off all them years that has passed your way, people you knew, feelings or thought you had about everything, the future. Miss them alot, miss listening to Offspring, I havent been listening to them in more than 15 years or so. thats crazy!! I guess I wanted to say that Your cover really got to me, thanks for reminding me how cool and moving that song really is. Offspring members might get older, but their music will never change, I think I just got that. Thanks this really really only brought great memmories back!! #1
Flashback, childhood memories.. Thank you, Jenn.. You got a new sub!!
Woooww.. its been 9 years.. the best cover i ever heard.. ❤❤❤❤❤
I was "WOHOO-ing" the whole time, perfect cover, it takes me back 25 years ago when I first discovered this band at the age of 10 ! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Pitch perfect. Seriously, haven't found a video that hasn't been yet. Also impressed with how much guitar work you do while vocalising, I have a huge habit of simplifying the shit outta things when I'm doing both. Well done, you gangster!

Damn this song hits home hard. Reminds me of back in the day, when we were younger and had aspirations and then the crossroads came where it's either keep chasing them or go to work at the factories... I like to think I'm still chasing them while working my ass off lol. Great cover very nostalgic

Keep at it. I remember the first song i learned on acoustic was Hey There Delilah and I always thought I'd never be able to play and sing. But after practicing over time, it just kinda happened. Since then I've been able to play and sing a lot of songs. I'm sure you'll be able to do it someday too and when you do you're gonna have a lot of fun :) Good luck!

I usually learn vocals first, since I’ve been singing for longer and it comes more naturally to me, but that’s just how I am.
you're amazing. Haven't been as excited about an artist as you since Christina Grimmie
You looked on the verge of tears during this song and it made my eyes get watery. This song is so true of how we think we will rule the world when we are going and find out it’s not that easy. Drugs suicide kids. Life is hard but you made it great today thanks

The lineup is really funny to look at now (Buckcherry!), but I remember watching the Cake set as the sun went down and everyone threw their pizza boxes in the air, that was killer.
