This is like Agent 47 tactics in a nutshell. Vindicare: Snipe the enemy from far away, and have little to no non target casualties. Callidus: Infiltrate and disguise, killing those who could jeopardize the mission, and to take the target down silently, or by indirect means. Eversor: Kill anything and everything that shoots at you, and kill the target without stealth or subtlety.

Imagine if the High Lords of Terra accidentally mixed up “Vindicare” & “Eversor” the way Arch did here... “Ok, we want this to be quick and clean, but clear enough to send a message.” *_One Eversor rampage later_* “Well... we definitely sent a message...”

Honestly, I wish we knew more about sire Eversor, because it's implied all of the original directors were skilled assassins, meaning he didn't just produce eversors and throw them at people, he WAS an eversor assassin himself and possibly the single greatest and most deadly one to ever exist due to the mental stability and ability to reason you mentioned in the end. Sounds like a person who could even make primarchs nervous.

@@NetMoverSitan I think Emps was just watching an old batman recording when he made Konrad. Normal babies absorb knowledge like a sponge so a Primarch would probably siphon it like a black hole at that age.

Imagine a terminator like movie with the Evisor instead of a machine going after a character. This guy flat out murders a entire town to get to the target

Id like to imagine that a bunch of Administratum workers stand in front of the screen with coffee cups and a big whiteboard taking tallies for each new way the Eversor kills someone like some sort of office wide game to see which methods are most popular and how creative they get.

An Eversor Assassin is a man who has died of combat drug overdose so many times over that his corpse, in its final death-spasms, seeks to evenly distribute those surplus deaths to as many living in its proximity as possible, and will not cease in its violent murderous thrashings until this deficit has been repaid in full.

Wow, this is a lot more complicated than I thought. I just figured their helmets constantly played Mick Gordon music, and human psychology handled the rest.

the first time meting of Assassinorum founders must had been kind of akward "I shoot stuff from big distance without getting catching" "I can change my appearance and kill without ever getting noticing" "I kill psykers" and Eversor is just "RAMPAGE!!!"

I suspect it was a chance meeting resulting from them all being in the imperial palace where the eversor had to be restrained by the rest of the founders

It's similar, but honestly way better designed. The usage of Eversors is specific enough that it works perfectly, whereas the butchers nails just end up more or less ruining a whole chapter of space marines. It turns out having raged out monsters is okay if you only use them as raged out monsters, but it's a lot less ideal if you plan to use them as a proper military force.

Consider this: “Crackdown: 40k” God I want to play an Eversor.

The idea of an Eversor that can sit down and have a conversation is awesome to me. Imagine one sneaking into a meeting, and just chatting with people pleasantly, then spotting it’s target and hulking out killing everyone. “Who knew Pete from HR was actually a monstrous killing machine?”

Given their lifespan is 2-3 years, that would be impressive to say the least. Not to mention, an Eversor being stationary for more than eleven seconds is rare.

A possible answer to your second question. I'm assuming that The high lords of the imperium wanted some plausible deniability after they killed the Cardinal. They didn't want to accidentally cause the planet to rebel in an attempt to avenge his murder by a tyrannical empire. Instead they just wanted the cardinal dead and give his followers nothing to strike back.

Not Arch but: #1 not physically stronger, but I know thats not what you mean. Eversor is a much different creature than space marine. SM are "pack" animals, Eversor much more like Custodes is a solo operative (even if they have been known to work in groups). Eversor has actually more staying power than "average" SM, and uses much more specialized and exotic weaponry. It is more than able, and in most cases will barely slow down while tearing through a SM. #2 Vindicare gives you plausible deniability, its a scalpel. Eversor is not a mallet. Eversor is a wrecking ball controlled by a drug fueled maniac. Assasinorum did not want to create a martyr. Using Eversor would create a wide path of gore and rubble from his point of landing to the cardinal. #3 Eversor is barely sane. Its a Khorne Berserker on a bad day, after stepping on a lego. He is fueled by combat drugs and his augmentations, and while not on deployment he is put under stasis. While his actions would make Khorne a very happy boy, he himself does not have any thoughts that would lead him to venerate any god. There is only target, and the mission to relive it from its extremities. Theoretically if Eversor was captured and dumped into Khornes domain, he could become some sort of champion, like a certain warboss and his boyz, but in practice its just not worth the hassle.

Just remember Gabriel Seth won a Fist fight against an Evesor Assassin who was stimulated up the ass to kill the Chapter Master.

Because a simple eversor is expected to take out a chapter master from a chapter that makes melee into an artform, has a giant as shit chainsword, and a set of terminator/artificer Armor.

I could imagine "Officio Assassinorum" being made into a game, just have the various schools as campaigns, and then you have the Eversor whom are Quick play to just Vent your frustration either from a particularly annoying Stealth segment as a Vindicare, or your cunning scheme not working as a Callidus, or just something IRL needing something to just punch, Basically a Rampage Shooter using the Eversor, ofcourse with a Good dose of Gore and destruction, that you could look back and have a moment, Hmm I Missed a spot painting the walls
