Its wild to see the fruit of the gospel work through Dahmer’s life… and not many know that mother Teresa’s ministry was really a money pit raising funds for her own organizations and I believe the catholic church as well.. Publicly it seemed like she was helping the world, all the while more stories come forward each year of the awful conditions people were placed in within her ministries, suffering worse at times, and a huge lack of care or compassion. She preached a very globalist unitarian message, never pointing to Jesus as THE truth, way, and life which is why the WORLD loved her.. Not at all saying as a man on this earth that Dahmer was a “good” man, but the evidence of the gospel working in his life reminds me of how God took a murderer, Saul, and gave him a new name🙏🏼 only Jesus saves

@Jazmine I am 64 years old. A little more than three years ago, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob opened my eyes to the death of His Son on a cross. I was driving alone in the middle of the night and God saved me! I will not tell you details of my sinful past, but I will tell you that I committed heinous acts that God brought to mind after He saved me. For many weeks after I was saved, I would suddenly recall one of these sins and in my shame I would go to my knees begging God for forgiveness. He forgave me. And He continues to forgive me when I sin, but my old ways, my favorite lusts from my dark past, no longer control me because I am in Christ and He is in me! I am not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I am free from sin’s power because of what Jesus of Nazareth did for me on the cross nearly 2,000 years ago. Praise His name forever! The story of the unnamed criminal crucified next to my Lord who asked for Jesus to remember him when He came into His kingdom was told to me and I related strongly with that lost man. That could have been me. God bless you, Jazmine. Luke 23:39-43

I just found out that Jeffrey Dahmer accepted Jesus Christ as his savior. I think its unfortunate, but probably on purpose that this fact isn’t part of the conversation when retelling his case. Accepting Jesus in his heart made him a new creation and redeemed even with all he has done. Jesus forgives when he repented and this shows how great Gods glory is and how deep his love goes.

But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. It's so awesome that the Lord Jesus Christ came to die so that terrible sinners like myself and Dahmer can be saved. Praise be to God Almighty For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 1 Corinthians 1:26‭-‬29 ESV

You just have to remember, that God wants us to walk in righteousness and not in sin. When we have turned to Jesus we have to stay in righteousness else we have not turned our heart away from sin. Our good works after we have turned to Jesus shows if we have turned our obedience to God or just stay in rebellion to God. In the latter case all the grace of God will not help us. We will be as lost as Judas Iscariot. This is an offence to most Christians, because they think that they can keep sinning and still go to Heaven. Jesus did not say just trust in my works, he said KEEP my commandments and DO the will of my Father. Do not follow churches, teachers, priests and church reformers. Only follow our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen, no matter what man's mind can conceive and commit in the flesh, there's only 1 way to be forgiven, and that's to receive the forgiveness offered by Father through the sacrifice of His sinless son Jesus. Even though Dalmers acts were against Father's ways and will for humanity, Dalmers repentance, (changing of his thoughts, mindset) about what he did in sin,he realized that Father's Grace is stronger than any sin that humanity can commit. He recieved the forgiveness offered freely to everyone who believes on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. As in all "religions",Catholicism is nothing short of a "gots to earn salvation", that Father's supplies freely to those who Believe in Jesus and the works that Jesus did in our place. What were the "works" Jesus did? He died for all humanity, so that humanity could receive eternal life thru the "works of Christ" not our filthy rag works. This is gonna give some of you a serious case of the red fanny, but,if Mother Teresa didn't receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, then she's not in heaven, she's not in limbo. She didn't cease to exist. Her new residence in in the pit. PEROID!!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Truth is controversial, to those who believe in deception.

Saying that mother Teressa's theology is slightly misguided and then using that to jump to the excessive conclusion that she was "self righteous" is a bit of a stretch. The "offence" of the gospel was that the Old Covenant law was no longer valid because the New one in Jesus superseded and nulified it (Gal 5:11). This was especially offensive to a Jewish audience. In a more general sense, the offence of the gospel is that Jesus is the only valid way to access GOD the Father (John 14:6). This offence has a much broader effect. The way the "offence" of the gospel is being portrayed in this video however, is more in line with modern theological debates on the nature of grace vs works, Calvinism vs Arminianism, Romans vs James etc. It's processing the so called offence of the gospel through the glasses of a hyper Reformed worldview. If you hold to such a worldview then that is perfectly cool, but I think it is beneficial to keep in mind that a great majority of believers do not. As previously mentioned, in Gal 5, Paul describes this offensive Gospel - this offensive New Covenant, as being something where the "only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love". Did Mother Teressa have faith towards Jesus? Did she have love towards Jesus? Was her faith and love towards Jesus demonstrated in her love for her fellow man? If the answer to these questions is yes then I think It would be safe to say that she built her house on the Rock and not on sand. Where she is right now however, is not for me to say. Thats in God's hands. Disclaimer; I'm not Catholic.

Slightly misguided? We didn’t say that. We said her beliefs were not Christian. She rejected the exclusivity of Christ in salvation, which is an essential for the Christian faith. To deny this is to deny the true Jesus Christ of Scripture, and to deny the Christian faith (which is why she believed Muslims or Hindus didn’t need to be converted). To deny the Christ of Scripture, is to rely on your own righteousness, instead of His. This is not an exclusively Reformed belief. Your understanding of the the New Covenant somehow nullifying the Old Covenant Law is false. Jesus explicitly said he didn’t come to abolish or replace the law, but to fulfill it. He obeyed the entire law in OT in our place. He only rejected the traditions of the Pharisees that were not found in Scripture (“You have heard that is was said…” is referencing those man made traditions. Ex: The Old Testament never taught people to hate their enemies, but to love them. Jesus was only reaffirming what was in Scripture). “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 5:17-19 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. - Matthew 5:43-45

@@AmericanGospel In reponse to what you have said. I will agree that some of the things Mother Teresa said were not merely slightly misguided, but very misguided. I will grant you that, But that doesn't necessarily equate to her being self righteous - that she was in a sense "self satisfied" with her own level of holiness and relying on that to get her to heaven. Her own Catholic understanding of personal salvation may have created some unhealthy ideas in her about the role of "works" in salvation, but she may also have had a strong revelation on the role of Jesus' blood as a substitutionary sacrifice for sin which was sufficient enough for her to exercise faith to be born again, i. e. saved. I don't know if she has written anywhere where she has explicitly stated that she is relying on her own works to get to heaven apart from Jesus' blood, but if she has then I take back what I say. The quotes from mother Teresa you use in the video are interesting but they may be better understood within the context she was sharing them. Because of her notoriety, mother Teresa often operated in the role of an ecumenical religious leader who was trying to play a diplomatic role on a world wide stage. Whether this was a spiritually wise thing to do I cannot say, but if you were to ask her in a more relational context where she was completely free to be fully honest, then she may have held more exclusively Christian views. You also make a good point about Jesus not coming to abolish the law but to fulfil it. Whether you use the word abolish however, or use the word fulfil, you kind of arrive at the same place with regards to the issue of personal salvation from sin. Yes the Law will not pass away till all are fulfilled, and those who do and teach what is in the Law will be great, but it says those who teach that it will be abolished will be least in the Kingdom of Heaven. In other words, those people are in Heaven -- they are saved. They are saved by grace through faith in Jesus' finished work of the cross. When I said that the New Covenant nullified the Old, I meant that it nulified it in its role in saving a person from personal sin and consequently aquiring salvation. This would have been extremely offensive to a Jewish hearer - especially when that new sacrifice was someone who died on a cross! In other words, the offence of the Gospel was not that seemingly good people go to Hell, and seemingly bad people get to go to Heaven, but that the Gospel was a salvation which nulified the salvation in the Old Covenant through Jesus' atoning sacrifice and that it was only through this one way - this one Jesus that someone can gain access to Heaven and God the Father. It was offensive to Jews for these reasons but was also deemed intellectually offensive to gentiles - it seemed offensively stupid and unwise rather than morally offensive. It was unsophisticated and simple. (Gal 5) (1 Cor 1 & 2) Wth regards to your video I think the point I'm trying to make is this: Could Jeffrey Dahmer be in Heaven as an extreme example of Jesus' atoning work alone getting someone to Heaven, eventhough that persons works contribute absolutely nothing to it, and may even potentially disqualify him from it because they were so heinous? Yes! Is it fair to use Mother Teresa as an equally extreme counter example to that on the other side of that scale where self righteous works can add to or trump Christs finished work alone? I would say No! Perhaps a better counter example to Dahmer would be to use Emmanuel Kant whose categorical imperative based upon Christian morality and human reason was elevated above the substitutionary atonement of Jesus. He wanted to live the Christian life without an atoning sacrifice. I do applaud the heart of what you are trying to convey in your video however. God bless

What's so explosively silly about this video is that this literally isn't the gospel . 1 cor. 15:3-4 3 The chief message I handed on to you, as it was handed on to me, was that Christ, as the scriptures had foretold, died for our sins; 4 that he was buried, and then, as the scriptures had foretold, rose again on the third day. That's THE GOSPEL. Nowhere does he say," oh yeah, you have to mentally affirm sola fide and you'll be saved forever for real, for real." The obvious misunderstanding of this goofy way of thinking is him mixing up what's offensive. He thinks the gospel is mental affirmation. Jeffery Dahmer affirmed it and so he has better grounds to be in heaven. Mother Theresa didn't and so is more than likely in hell. The ACTUAL GOSPEL is offensive because you have to confront the person of Jesus. This is the man the prophets wrote about . The man who's supposed to rule everything. The man with the whole world under His thumb. A man who beat death itself. And you're under Him. That's what's offensive. Not, " Mother Theresa is in hell because she didn't agree with our understanding of how salvation works." The gospel doesn't have a soteriological addendum strapped to it . The gospel is about Christ and this is something so many protestants cannot comprehend. Mother Theresa is in heaven because she did what Christ asks all Christians to do. She believed the ACTUAL GOSPEL. That Christ has risen . She went above and beyond for the sake of others because she believed Jesus was alive in heaven. She put her flesh to bed by sacrificing herself daily. A pious literalist that saved lives because of an eschatological truth. Listen here: if you didn't move to the slums of Calcutta I don't take your criticism of mother Theresa seriously. It's easy to sit in your nice office, with the dad-bod, able to shower every day, meals always around, and then trash on an elderly woman in a third world country on a short KZread video. What's not easy is doing what she did and still thinking she wasn't Christian.

Agreed with you up until the part about Mother Theresa. Did you ever hear about the dark side of her endeavours in Calcutta? It's worth some research. Not saying that she didn't sacrifice stuff and so on and definitely not saying she's not in heaven, how would I know, but yeah, I'd recommend you to do some research!

@@GerardPerry did you comprehend anything I said? She believed Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead. That's the gospel. THATS IT. She wouldn't have lived in a slum otherwise. Just because she doesn't agree with the addendums protestants tack on doesn't mean she doesn't believe the gospel. Protestants have added to the gospel. Not Catholics.

She was extremely devoted to Jesus and made sure her sisters had a personal relationship with Jesus. Your selective quotes on what she said, she is in heaven! Both are probably in heaven! You totally misconstrued what Mary does. You are in Christ and Mary is his mother. So she is your mother, too! By the way, Jeffrey Dahmer became a member of the church of Christ. You saying they preach a correct Gospel? This arrogant prideful video shows you don’t know Jesus.

Mother Teresa altruistic ? Lol you lost me right there. But certainly I hope that both she and Dahmer are in heaven. That would mean they both finally came to Jesus before thzy died. The power of God's mercy is indeed fearful.

Abendroth is preaching the ear-tickling but totally false Gospel According to Personal Sacrifice-free, Easy Believism. Like Abendroth, Mother Teresa also preached a false gospel, but she did so in ignorance, not pride. Because God is just mother Teresa will be just fine on Judgment Day (cf. Jn 5:28-29, 9:41; Rom 2:6-8; Rev 22:12). Abendroth I'm not so sure. 😨

@@bryanpratt5850 you don't understand Eph 2:8-9 because the people who explained it to you did not understand it. Paul is not talking about salvation of the soul from damnation in that passage. He is not talking about the Ephesians beliefs. He is saying they were saved from destructive Paganism and the useless Jewish temple cult by the *faithFULNESS* of Jesus to the Father. That interpretation agrees with these and other clear scriptures:. Matt 7:21-23, 10:38-39, 16:24-25, 27; Lk 6:47-49, 8:21, 9:23-25, 11:28; Jn 3:36, 5:28-29, 6:29 12:25; 14:21; Acts 5:32, 10:35, 14:22; Rom 2:5-8, 6:16; 2 Cor 5:10; Gal 6:7-8; 2 Thess 1:7-8; Php 2:12, 3:8; Heb 5:9, 10:36-39; Js 1:22, 2:24; 1 Pet 4:17; 2 Pet 2:20-22; Rev 2:10b, 23, 3:5, 21, 22:12.The ear-tickling interpretation of Eph 2:8-9 you were taught clearly *does not.*

@@charliemichaels452 Paul says we were made alive with Christ even when still transgressing. He equates this with being "saved," so your interpretation is incorrect. It couldn't have been temporal salvation from the sinfulness of Ephesus, but it was indeed salvation of the soul. Memorize James 3:1 and embrace it.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what God did for the sinner, Dahmer because that is what God did for ME! - Who are YOU to determine what Righteousness is? IT IS GOD ALMIGHTY who IS Righteousness and who defines what Righteousness is, it is NOT Sinners that determine that. Man looks at the outward appearance BUT God looks into the heart of man, no man can look into the heart of man BUT GOD Almighty. Mother Teresa was walking in the lie of all lies, that Mary had something to do with FORGIVENESS OF SINS. She is beautiful because she was chosen to be the mother of the Son of God, she did not die for anyone's sins - who teaches that lie? Who does not read the bible and see that Mary was only the mother of Jesus, not a savior of the world? This is a lie from the pit of hell. Who cares if you are offended because of the truth, I don't care. Who is really offended when you do not accept what God has established as the way to salvation and the only way to salvation? It is God that is offended. Jesus Christ is God's only son, and he alone has been given all power on earth and in heaven by the Father. Mother Teresa doesn't even understand who Mary was in God's grace of providing a savior for the fall of man. I was born into that same distorted religion of Mother Teresa, wicked it is - I went thru 1st communion and that was when God showed me the problem with Mother Teresa's religion and his word. Jesus is the ONLY mediator between God and man. That scripture alone, made me tell my mom with great desperation, that I did not want to go into the room with the so-called priest and confess my sins to a man because everything in me was telling me this is wrong, I do not have to do this to be right with God. Offensive is the lust of the flesh and the one who is the worthless shepherd - that is what is offensive. This video is excellent - well done my brother - many people will think that Mother Teresa is the one who was righteous over a murder like Dahmer. The comparison is excellent contrast, even approaching parable status. The truth is established by the word of God, not any man on this earth or church on this earth, it is only the Holy Spirit that can convict the heart of man to repent. Salvation is binary. You are either a repentant, transformed believer in Jesus Christ or you are NOT. This is what the scripture teaches, it is that simple and that straightforward. You don't have to go to a church to repent, you don't have to talk to a priest EVERY IN YOUR LIFE to be right with God. You have to, however, understand that you can only worship God in Spirit and in Truth, so if you are not ready to be brutally honest with yourself and your maker then you are just not ready to repent or you are not willing. But if you are ready and willing to lose all the lies and bondage surrounding you, HE IS READY at any time, no matter the hour - and if you ask him to forgive you of all your sins and give you a new heart, one that thirst for him, there is going to be a massive rejoicing in Heaven. Because, all of us know how deep the deception is that the god of this world and those who follow him have put on everyone, nonstop, day after day - vexing our souls with wicked acts and wicked words. Turn from sin. I read this scripture last night and it really hit me - how good it is 2 Peter - Chapter 2 Verse 9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. Be offended OR Be encouraged in the Lord Your choice But be certain - the day of judgment is coming
